Bought this heavy duty wall mount for my new 55 inch TV. Came with all the attachments for every TV type and all the hardware needed to mount the TV. It's too complicated to mount it myself (drilling holes into the wall studs [2}) so I had a professional installer do it.It is heavy duty because it pulls out to 32" from the wall, thus supporting more weight than the TV itself. In my case I needed it to reach out to 30" due to the "old" type of house construction the has a recessed area for an entertainment center.Highly recommended even for the price. Purchased from Amazon which included free shipping especially since it weighs 48#.

You have spent good money on your flat panel television so why not protect your investment with a high quality mount that leaves the others in the dust.If you are looking for the most reliable, sturdy, well built and versatile flat panel articulating mounting system on the market, you cannot beat the Peerless PLA60-UNLP-GB. I purchased the unit directly from [...] for $325.I mounted the unit inside a custom entertainment center that had a depth of 24". The cabinet depth was presenting a problem as I needed an esthetic installation without having to rebuild the entertainment center. In the end, an articulation arm was the best means for ease of access and flush mounting within the system. This Peerless mount accomplished this with ease, provided you can find two 16" centered wall studs to mount on.Product was heavy, so I highly recommend a second set of hand to assist with the project. Total installation time was only 2 hours.Product instructions were very easy to read and Peerless did a wonderful job in packaging and labeling.The black baked finish makes the unit very pleasing to the eye. The articulating motion is well balanced and well tuned. I can move my television with one hand if needed.You can extend the television from the wall to 31" and never feel like stability or unit sturdiness is an issue. The versatility of the product allows for non-centered installation if needed and easy vertical, horizontal and tilt adjustments are available. Adjusting the television, post installation was very easy for a FLUSH and professional looking installation.You can buy plenty of lower priced products on the market today, but this unit is truly HIGH QUALITY "SECOND TO NONE".The 5 year warranty is the best in the market at this price point.I highly recommend this unit.BRAVO PEERLESS...

i have two of these brackets, my first one for a 50" panasonic plasma about two years ago and i just got another one for a 58" panasonic plasma. it handles the 50" no problem, can swing it around with ease and the extension and swivel are very smooth. it can move from flat to the wall to a 90-degree angle once fully extended. i was nervous about the 58" since it's such a beast, about 140 pounds (175 lb rating). the 58" is harder to get moving because it's so heavy, but once it starts going it is smooth sailing. highly recommend it.
