This item is very easy to use. You can determine various problems with your car simply by measuring the amount of heat. I used this item to determine which side of vehicle had a wheel bearing problem, though it was audibly heard from both sides and felt at floor pan of vehilce. I went around all four wheels and the hotest wheel had the bearing problem.

This is an outstanding piece of equipment. It is perfect for measuring the metal temp on sprayed surfaces. Magnetic bottom so it can stand without falling is a nice feature.

Reads 8 F degrees high, but consistent

I bought this unit to use the dual laser dots as an aid to knowing exactly what it is I am measuring, when wanting a reading on RC craft motors and on the ICs of electronic circuit boards. Compared to my Raytek Mini Temp MT, which has no laser at all, this new ST25 reads 8F degrees high, but it is consistent over a range of items from 40 to 180F that I tested. I presume the MT model is right, or at least close, because I can scan most any item in my home office and the surface will usually match the temperature in the room, about 72F at the time of testing. The ST25 would show the same item at 80F. I know it isn't 80 in here, because I would be sweltering if it were.Although I am disappointed that the device is apparently incorrectly calibrated, I can subtract the 8 degrees and it then seems to correctly measure everything I pointed it at. A calibration adjustment for the user would make a nice addition to this model.The ST25 seems solidly built and I was surprised by how much larger in size it is compared to the mini MT. It comes in a nice molded carry case with a manual that describes several items that can be tested, including such things as rear window defroster traces and other automotive items. The manual is in several languages.

Better Sleep for Everyone

UPDATE: It is now March of 2013 and we are still using this product. I liked it so much that I actually ordered another one as we have had another child. The one that I purchased this time around is NOT the same quality as the previous one. In fact, I am very disappointed with it. The zipper was replaced with cheap plastic snaps and the pad is not nearly as long. I was expecting to get the same product that I had ordered before. Compared to the previous version, this one gets only 2 stars in my book. I am going to try to contact customer service.ORIGINAL REVIEW:This co-sleeping pad has been a lifesaver (or more likely marriage saver!) for my family.I have a very restless 8 month old. He starts off in his crib in a deep sleep and about 5 hours later starts rolling around. He gets his legs and arms through the bars and cries and then scoots up and hits his head. My husband was working away from home for awhile so I would just bring the baby in bed with me at this point. When the hubby came back home, I was worried that he would roll or otherwise hurt the baby because he is also a restless sleeper who tends to throw his arms out to the side. However, I did not want to put baby on my other side for fear that he would roll off of the bed. So some totally sleepless nights ensued during which I tried to settle baby in his crib with no success. Hubby was upset with no sleep for work, and I was upset because no sleep for me and baby kept hurting himself on the bars of the crib.Something had to give. I had looked at this co-sleeper pad a long time ago and thought it was way too expensive. However, what is the cost of having no sleep? Hubby drives long distances to work and was having trouble staying alert. The cheaper "anti-roll" bed devices were just bed rails or foam that slipped under your sheet. Neither seemed like a good option for us. A bedrail would be the crib all over again and the foam just looked like it would not fit nicely under my already snug sheets. So we talked it over and decided to order it.First night after we got it, we all slept better. When baby wakes, he comes into bed and I don't have to worry about hubby hurting him or baby rolling off of the bed. It makes night time nursing a breeze and the cotton absorbs spills wonderfully so there is no need to change the whole bed. I find it very soft and comfortable, it is however, slightly hotter than a regular sheet for summer use, but not to the point where I would stop using it. There is plenty of room for me, hubby and baby, however, we do have a king size bed.Overall, it was definitely worth the price and I would definitely recommend it to other parents. I am so thankful that this worked for us!!UPDATE: It is now the end of October 2011 and we are still using this co-sleeper. The fabric is still as soft as it was when I purchased it despite many washings. The padding in the roll is still fluffy, I just move it whenever I wash the pad so that it is not always getting flattened out. This product has been well worth the cost and the quality is wonderful. I honesty don't know what we would have done without it! 2 thumbs still way up for this co-sleeper.

Doesn't stay put

The concept is great but needs to be improved upon. The part that you lay on constantly wrinkles, bunches up, and shifts around b/c there's nothing keeping it laying flat while your bodies are naturally moving on top of it. It gets realy uncomfortable having the material bunch up under you and you need to keep fixing and adjusting it. I'm disappointed since there are very few of these types of items available for bedsharing with our infant. I wish the sheet part was longer so that it could be tucked under the other side of the mattress or something - that way, maybe it would stay put.

Really Happy With It.

I did a lot of research into different co-sleeping options and decided not to get this product with my first son due to the price. I ended up not co-sleeping for very long with him because we have a raised bed and I had a lot of fears that something would happen to him. In hindsight, I regretted not co-sleeping (it was so much harder having him sleeping in crib). 2 years later when I got pregnant again, I redid all the research of co-sleeping options and found myself back at the Humanity Family Bed. I'm so happy I went with this product. Co-sleeping has been amazing and the Humanity Co-Sleeper is perfect. I don't have any fears that he will slip out or it will move (like some of the other co-sleeping options). I read a review that the fabric was rough, but I find it very soft and quite pleasant to sleep on. I haven't had any problems with it bunching, as another review said. It is very easy to pull off and wash or roll up and place at the bottom of the bed or top. We have a large bed, so the size of the pillow is perfect. What I've spent in money, I've saved in peace of mind and extra hours of comfortable co-sleeping. I would highly recommend it as an option (although also recommend shopping around for prices).

Useful Advanced Tool for Baking and Broiling

How hot is that pizza stone? How cold is the meat in your freezer? Is your frying pan ready to sizzle that steak? Have you got more curiosity and money than sense? This tool is for you! After looking at a range of infrared thermometers I ordered the Raytek ST20XB. It works very well for measuring surface temperatures with great accuracy, has a clear read out and a visible red laser dot to show the spot being measured, scans a surface and quickly reads the (varying) temperatures in each spot and is comfortable to hold and to use. I have used it to read surface temperatures at distances ranging from inches to yards with no problems. More expensive units have features that are not usable by bakers and cooks, like dual laser dots to pinpoint the boundaries of measured areas or the ability to read super hot and super cold surface temperatures; less expensive units may not read with the accuracy a baker needs. This model has proven to be "just right" for me. My pizza crusts and rustic breads bake better when the stone (not just the oven air)is up to temperature and meats sear more evenly when the pan is given time to spread heat more evenly. I have been most surprised to find that even heavy cast iron pans take longer to reach an even temperature than I realized, with spots being more than 20 degrees cooler in different places across the surface. Persons who want to "kick it up a notch" on baking and broiling will use this tool.

paintball gun

this gun works very well. I have play about 8 times with it now. each time using more then 500 ball through it. I have put a scope on it for some games. was hard to get tall mounts for the scope but that's because I'm using a rifle scope. a red dot should be easier to mount.

New tool for old user.

For years I had been using a large, old, Delta lathe at work but since my retirement (ya, right) I no longer have that access. I have had to add power tools to my crib to accomplish the inventions and ideas that come into my head. I thought the Jet Mini lathe might be a bit too small but I was wrong. This lathe may not be large in size but it can do some pretty big work if and when you want it to. I do bowl turnings mostly and some spindle stuff and in both cases it has performed equal to if not better than the big Delta I used in the past. With the addition of the bed extension, a new PSI chuck, and slight modification to the setup I have turned up to 60 inch spindles and turned bowls out of soap stone with ease. Highly recommended!!!

One great lathe-Excellent Value

The Jet Mini is my third wood lathe, the previous lathes being an older unknown brand and most recently the Craftsman 12 X 36 "pipe" style lathe. A recent move required me to downsize my shop so I looked for a lathe that was not a toy, but clearly have a smaller footprint. Furthermore, since my previous lathes did not have variable speed I was not especially looking for variable speed on the new lathe.Doing research on Rikon, Delta, Mastercraft, Grizzly, Harbor Freight and a couple of others, it became clear the three to consider would be the Jet, Delta, and Rikon.Locally (Dallas), I had a chance to look at the actual Rikon, Delta, and Jet mini size lathes. I can confidently say that either of these brands will likely provide satisfactory service for anyone. Now it became time for me to make a choice.The Rikon was a little less expensive, but not by much. The Delta and Jet were right in line with each other. The deciding factor then became the ease of changing the belt for different spindle speeds. For this qualifier, the Jet clearly won. On the Jet, you can change speeds, with the belt, in less than 20 seconds.I use the lathe mainly for turning small bowls, vases and making wooden pens. For these projects, the lathe performs flawlessly. Indeed, I have not found anything the lathe will back away from, including turning an eight-inch diameter bowl. Albeit this is the largest I've tried turning and the Jet Mini handled it well.So, what about the choice I made not to get the VS (variable speed) model? So far no regrets. However to be completely fair, there have been a couple of times, when finishing wood pens, that it may have been helpful. However, when I can change speeds in less than 20 seconds, it has not been a hindrance at all. To this day, I do not regret getting the standard model. Also, remember, that the VS model requires a belt change to go between low range and high range speeds. Bottom line is I am glad I still have my $100 that would have been the difference in the lathes.In conclusion, I don't ever see selling this lathe. I think it will always have a place in my shop, regardless of how many tools I get or how much space I have. It is one handy tool. Consider it carefully, I recommend it.

The best kept secret in antacids...time to get the word out

My dad found Titralac about 10 years ago and raved about its effectiveness. He talked me into trying it about five years ago and that is when I found out why he was crazy about the product. Just like most everything else they produce, this 3M product is phenomenal. I have found the basic Titralac works faster for heartburn than the Titrilac Plus Gas relief product, but both are great. No need to keep anything else in the medicine cabinet or travel bag.

Our household and extended family have found Titralac their antacid of choice for years. I personally have used it for 49 years and would not be without it in purse and medicine cabinet. I worried when 3M bought it from Burroughs-Wellcome, but need not have done so. They've continued a great formulation! It is such a well-kept secret weapon against indigestion. The best by far!

Over all a great product. When installing I had to shim the sides of the spool. Where the axles go into. There was to much play other wise. After the shims it worked GREAT. I did notice that there is a slight amount of play in the spool though.

Beautiful and solid made Danze faucet

I really like this Danze single handle faucet, although I wasn't familiar with this brand. My husband said this is a nicely constructed faucet, nice and solid. When we first received it and opened the box, as much as we liked the look of it, we thought it looked kind of large for our small bathroom and hesitated to install it. But it was so nicely made we decided to go ahead and my husband installed it without any problems. Once it was in we thought it looked even better than we imagined and it works great. The single handle is smooth and easy to use. Nothing drips. It comes with a nice shiny deck plate to cover any existing sink holes if needed, which we used. Overall, the price was very reasonable and we are very pleased with it.

Excellent Product, Great Value

I would add one comment to the others who have rated this faucet with five stars. Unlike some of the newer faucets found at The Home Depot and Lowe's, this faucet is very well made and finished and contains no plastic. The water lines are copper and the drain assembly is brass. All of the parts involved are metal with the exception of a mounting plate that fits under the base plate that is used in a three hole installation.

excellent product

I ordered 2 of these faucets for a master bathroom. I chose the Danze brand based on the great reviews their other products had received on Amazon. I was not disappointed.As soon as I opened the boxes I was extremely pleased with the appearance (brushed nickel) and quality. My plumber said they were an unbelievable value, easy to install and would last a long time.I highly recommend this faucet to everyone.

Best thing going for recovery from shoulder surgery!

I put this ahead of the percot and vicodin for post surgery pain management! I got one and wore it fairly continuously the first two weeks and thereafter after every PT session and whenever I wanted relief from pain. It was a life saver and prevented over dependence on pain meds. I also credit it with keeping the staph infection that I got in one of my incisions from raging out of control before I got the infection diagnosed and on antibiotics. The ER doctor said the cryo cuff PROBABLY kept the infection from spreading farther and faster. Can't say enough good things! My PT also swears by it and together with a portable TENS unit, has made the first two months post surgery as good as it could be.

Cryocuff rocks

Cryocuf is the best kept secret for ortho surgery around. It reduces the need for pain meds and keeps swelling down and reduces bruising, which speeds healing. My wife and I have had multiple surgeries over the years on feet, knees, hands, and shoulders...all with the Aircast in tow. If the surgeon didn't use it, we educated them...all were amazed at the results...If you are having joint surgery, look into getting one of these!!

Atoll Bathroom Vanity

I ordered this vanity several months ago for a new bathroom as part of a home reno project. There have been so many issues/delays/added work orders and more money spent than I planned for with this project. Finally this week the box with this vanity and marble top plus sink was fully opened. I got home from work and saw it placed in the new bathroom and was so happy with how beautiful it is! It was delivered to me in No. Cal from Florida exactly when promised. The picture doesn't do the vanity justice, the wood is so rich and the marble has a subtle elegance. I am very happy with the product and service.

Works Great! Recommended

I'm recovering from an ACL reconstruction. My health insurance wouldn't pay for a Cryo Cuff, but I bought one anyway. I'm happy that I did.The way it works is that you load the cooler with ice and water. Then put the cuff on. Raise the cooler above the cuff and ice water runs from the cooler into the cuff. If it feels like it's not cold enough, lower the cooler and the warmed water runs from the cooler into the cuff. Raise the cooler and fresh ice water runs back into the cuff. The cooler should be about a foot above the cuff. I've set the cooler on a table or suspended it from a hat rack while icing.Pros: It's easy to ice 6, 7, 8 times a day Efficient use of ice; 7 lbs last me almost3 days No mess No dealing with plastic bags of ice, towels, and Ace Bandages. It's possible to disconnect the cuff from the hose and walk around while icing. The connection automatically closes so you only get a couple of drips of waterCons: The cuff seems expensive for what it is.I got the large cuff, even though I was within the range for the medium cuff by a few inches. The extra size makes it much easier to ice over the bulky post-op dressings

Worth the money

I injured my knee skiing 7 years ago. I got the CryoCuff while I was healing from that injury: it was much easier to fill the cooler once, and let it fill the compression wrap with ice- water, instead of getting up every hour to hobble to the kitchen for a fresh ice pack.I've used my CryoCuff over the years when I had flare ups of swelling and pain in the knee: it was especially great when I needed to ice my knee at work -- I just filled up the cooler with water & ice at home, and I could discreetly ice & compress my knee under my desk. No ice to dribble, no cloths to wrap around anything, no ice burn on my skin. Just healing cold & compression.I recently had to have surgery to fix that darned knee. My PT says that the discipline to ice, elevate and compress it is why I am making a really strong recovery. I could only do that because the CryoCuff made it easy - I just set the alarm to go off once an hour, and I refilled the compression wrap.If you are considering this, I'd buy it. I certainly got my money's worth of healing out of it!

Loving the cryo/cuff

I purchased the Aircast cryo/cuff for use post knee replacement surgery. It has been invaluable to my recovery. It is easy to use and the cooler keeps the ice from melting for hours. I would highly recommend this product to anyone post surgery or injury.The product arrived within the time they said it would as well.
