Convenient, but at a price-

I bought this vacuum to replace a household Hoover Windtunnel Bagless. I have to haul my vacuum up and down short flights of stairs constantly, and the Hoover was so heavy, and the maintenance was too much. I can get alot more out of the (expensive) prefilter by blowing it out with an air compressor after every use, but who has time for that? This vacuum is really well designed for carrying. The fold down handle makes this vacuum easy to carry, as does the light weight. I was never happy with an Oreck - although light, it has no onboard attachments, unless you want to spring for a much more expensive model. So far, I have not broken any of the catches that hold the handle in position, but I can see where that could be a problem.Onboard attachments - comes with a crevice tool and a dusting brush. The brush refuses to stay on the vacuum, so I carry it in my cleaning box so as not to get lost. Suction seems great with the hose, but this vacuum is definitely not as good as the Hoover. That is an amazing vacuum, but this one's size and minimal maintenance required (as with most bagged vacuums) has made it worth it. I will occasionally use the Hoover, just to be thorough, but this one works pretty well, and fits my requirements. Couldn't beat the price either - $130 from a merchant here on Amazon.

Great vaccum .. real work horse

We purchased this vaccum for the office ( good sized ) and it has worked relentlessly for +1 yr now. The concierge ( full time employee -> gives you an idea of size of bldg.) has used it every day and further more moves it between floors everyday.It's small enough to avoid back pain and strong enough to hold its own after daily use in an office environment.It's the 2nd one we own.. first one lasted ~ 8 yrs under similar daily use conditions.A good buy and one our concierge doesn't regret.

Strong motor great VAC

Over a year later and I'm still happy with it. What can I say about a VACit works, its strong and it hasn't broken.One tiny flaw, closing the chamber after dumping out the collecteddust can be a trip. You need to know the exact sequence of how to fitit back or you will THINK its broke. LOL or was that me?

Fair quality, but bad coloring

I bought the "Cherry wood finish" version from Amazon. Received it in two working days with normal shipping. Opened the box - very well packed, and to my surprise, what I found was butcher block colored wood instead of the cherry. The box was marked Cherry so there may have been a mix-up in the factory.Two of the wood shelves had slight blemishes on them, knot holes that were rough to the touch. Not too big a deal as I just turned them over so when the rack was set up, the blems would faced down.

Very Good for the money

I got this stand in Cherry color from Amazon for $225 and I think it is a very good deal. Waited for the following weekend, as I knew it would take some time to assemble it. It did take about 1 hour to get it assembled and leveled. But once assembled and setup correctly you are rewarded with a increase in resolution and imaging. I wanted a decent component stand and did not expect the sound to change - for good. The images were placed more precisely and the holography of my system did increase a bit. The music seems more focused now compared to the make shift TV stand my components were placed on. This could be because of the Mega Spikes I installed on this stand, which gives it more stability and looks better. For the price I paid, I certainly will recommend fellow audio enthusiasts. I got a deal on the Megaspikes - $25. This is the lowest I have seen on them anywhere!! Highly recommended :-)

Nice stand - time consuming to build

The stand arrived in a timely manner and was well packaged. The quality of the stand is very high - both the wooden shelves and the metal parts are all well built. It seems easy to assemble from looking at it, but it does take a long time. Each shelf has 8 nuts and 8 rubber washers that need to be threaded onto the support rods. This takes a long time - about two hours to assemble. Also, be careful with the support rods - if you bang them together the threads will be damaged and getting the nuts on will be a bear. All-in-all, the time to assemble and the cost is well worth it - I have a solid, beautiful, and modern (but not trendy) audio stand. It will house many audio systems over the years.

Great darts!

These are some of the best darts i have used, i personally like the heavy darts with a slim form factor. these fit the bill for me! i have played darts for years and tried many darts and flight combos to to know what i needed for my throwing style. i would definitely recommend to find your combo before ordering darts on line tho. the darts are crafted well and i would recommend to all!

Not exactly as described, but I like....

So the grip I got is not as advertised... but I like the darts anyway. They are better than what I was using from the local Academy prior to this purchase, and since I knew I'd be dealing with return shipping and delays, I decided to try them out anyway and I liked them enough to keep them. The box and all indications showed that it matched the product in the photo, but the grip on my darts has no knurl- it's smooth metal aside from the 4 grip rings etched parallel to the dart shaft. The heavier weight works for me since I tend to hurl the darts at the board, and I use a pencil-grip, so they ended up being pretty good for my purposes. I like the spin-free flight shafts too. All in all, I am happy with what I got and the performance of these darts. Nice hard case that holds extra flights as well. Wish the set came with back-up shafts, but happy for what I got and the price paid. :-)

Championship here we come

We had a dart competition in our office, and once these darts arrived I was like "Refrigerator Perry" on the 2 yard line... unstoppable. They are a bit heavier than I was used to but got used to the extra weight after a few games. They almost seem to push darts in the same position out of the way. Be sure to get yourself some spare "top spin" shafts... as you will find out they are not the most durable shaft when you hit the end of your dart. The point stays sharp, the grip is a nice diamond etched pattern that makes you keep hold of the dart. Very durable dart well worth the cost. When they hit the board, they do it with authority. Great purchase.
