Great desk - delivery disaster

I found the desk reasonably easy to assemble, with good directions and all the parts nicely labeled. The desk came together in about an hour. It's sturdy, and nice looking. For the price, I thought it was a great value. The height of the small shelf on top is adjustable, and there are a few little doo-dads, like pencil holder, envelope rack, and paper holder that come with it and clip onto the perforated back board. A pleasant little surprise. There are rear wheels and fixed, static feet on the front legs, so you can tilt it back to move it hither and dither if necessary.The problem was that Amazon delivered this item requiring an adult signature, meaning that someone HAS to be home or it can't be delivered. If you have a job, that might be a problem. It was for me. I called UPS, and they told me that the Amazaon warehouse required the signature, so it could not be changed. In the end, I had to drive over and pick the desk up at a UPS depot. That being the case, I might just have well have gone to a brick and mortar store and bought it, and had it the same day.

computer desk

Before purchasing this particular desk, I did a great deal of research, primarily because I had a very small space to work with and did not want to spend a great deal of money. Well, let me tell you, the search was worth the time and the money spent. I knew the name brand was quality but I also wanted something that would be easy to assemble since I would be doing it myself. This desk far exceeds all of my requirements and then some. I am so pleased with the end result that I highly recommend this desk to anyone looking for top quality at a low price. The only negative were the attachment holdings for desk supplies which seem a little flimsy.

Nice Quality for the Price

I had previously owned a LEDA desk, so I was confident ordering online. I would describe the quality as slightly above target and IKEA's furniture. It's very sturdy, but not made out of bulletproof glass or triple reinforced steel, ha ha. Its a really fantastic deal for the price, I can't stress that enough.I don't really consider assembly to be part of a product review, because if something is substantial, it tends to have a lot of parts. However, we did not have much difficulty getting this together.
