Knives appear to be as ordered. Great knives, very sharp. The case is cheap though with plastic inserts inside of a light fabric. Would be much better in a leather case.

Great knives, and excellent set

We participate in a lot of wild game hunting, and we process our own meat. We bought the knives because we needed something that could keep up with the massive amounts of meat that we process each year.These knives are beautiful, and very sharp. They cut through meat flawlessly.Also, the shipping was quick, and efficent.

Reasonably Priced -- Only Moderate Picture Quality

I purchased this camera both for a 'lazy install' front door security camera and as well general-purpose around the house monitoring. Compared to commercial security cameras and hi-end baby monitors this was reasonably priced (<$200). Since the camera is wireless installation is convenient, as long as you've got a plug for the AC adaptor. Its plastic and somewhat flimsy, so is better suited as a counter-top baby monitor than a security camera (unless you can install in a dry, secure location). The remote video receiver is convenient (about the size of a video iPod), but consumes a lot of battery power, which means you'll either require the AC adapter for on-going video monitoring (in reach of an AC wall socket) or use the batteries only for periodic monitoring. The picture quality is "ok" -- I was expecting better overall picture quality considering today's technology and a 2.4GHz signal -- and I corraborate other reviews here that unless you're only a few feet away expect a lot of picture static -- which is annoying. The camera has a built-in microphone, but the static is so bad it rendors the audio useless (another dissappointment -- and likely a show-stopper as a baby monitor if you can't get a clean signal).But the 10 infrared LEDs provide a reasonably good night-time picture (actually, the picture quality is much the same, from bright sun-light to pitch black). So overall the camera has been useful. Fun note: Had a Gambell's Quail nest in a bush outside so I placed the camera right by the nest (yes, w/a rain cover) to monitor mom on her eggs -- have learned a lot about how Quails tend to their eggs. This was an unexpected, pretty cool use for this camera.

GREAT LCD PICTURE...TERRBLE AUDIO!!! DON'T BUY!!!

GREAT CONCEPT , LCD, PAN/TILT BUT....IT IS TOO BAD THEY COUDLN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO MAKE A PRODUCT W/O ALL OF THE STATIC AND CRACKING! IT IS HORRIBLE. NOT MUCH GOOD IF YOU HVE TO KEEP THE VOLUME OFF & STARE AT THE PICTURE. I HAVE TRIED ALL OF THE CHANNELS, AND MANY LOCATIONS THROUGHOUT OUR HOUSE AND IT IS ALWAYS VERY LOUD. CAN'T WAIT TO GET A REPLACEMENT AND BE FREE FROM THE NOISE AND INTERUPTIONS AT NIGHT!!! I SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT SUMMER INFANTS MONITOR!

Not a baby monitor to buy

This monitor comes in different names but is made by the same manufacturer. Also beware that the newer version that has the greater pan and tilt capability isn't any better. This might be useful as a security monitor if it doesn't leave an a/c outlet for more than an hour and if it sits on a desk that's higher than your body. Issues I found: 1. When I turned on my microwave the speaker screeched and the monitor was unusable. 2. If the monitor was on a table and you walked toward it (within a few feet) the display would go out and the audio would give you a buzzing noise. 3. The pan and tilt feature barely worked- Monitor was downstairs and the camera's upstairs. Less than 60 ft. I had to go upstairs to get them to work. (I don't have wireless or a 2.4 GHz phone) 4. The volume control was extremely touchy. It went from 0 to loud with barely a touch. I liked the concept but the product needs some tweaking for it to be a baby monitor.

This switch is very buggy

You would think that this switch would be very simple, and it should be. The software on the switch is very buggy specifically when it comes to DHCP. I cannot get the switch to obtain an iP address and whats worse, I lose access when I do. Netgear knows that to be an issue and the latest firmware (5.0.2.33) on Netgear's web site is supposed to address this issue. I installed it with no success at resolution. I had to program a static IP into the device to allow myself to access the device. (When the device is in DHCP mode, the device is accessible by its default IP, but as soon as it sees a DHCP server access is lost and it does not get an IP or even request one.)I purchased this switch to simply power some PoE phones for a customer and while I was able to get this to work with some effort, I would not recommend this switch for anyone who has limited experience. Small offices that would tend to use this switch have flat networks and just need a simple switch to connect devices and in the case of a PoE switch power their devices. Why Netgear adds so much complication to their switch is beyond me because no large enterprise is going to buy this dud.The device I reviewed was a v2 version of the device. At this time, Netgear has software for a v1 and a v2.

Can't beat it for PoE

My boss wanted us to be an all-Cisco shop, but for a 50 person company and with less than ten employees in this remote office, with less than 50% projected growth y-o-y, it didn't make sense to pay Cisco prices. We're using this as a PoE switch to power a dozen VoIP phones.This switch works well, it has a clunky web interface like any other SMB market switch, but who spends much time with that, beyond first setup?Compared to the nearest Cisco, the Cisco SF200-24P Switch 24 10/100 Ports, Smart Switch, PoE, 2 Combo Mini-GBIC Ports, Warranty, One Year Tech Support - SLM224PTNA, this has more power per port, PoE on every port, and a higher max power output than any others I've found. And reasonaby priced. Fans weren't noticeable over the other server rack fans, admittedly not running at full PoE power.

Great product.

Received one of these as a gift and have used twice now, doing multiple batches of beef jerky on each use. This product is amazing in that you can make decent jerky in about two hours for the slightly moist type, and in about 4 and a half hours you can have about totally dry jerky - the kind you can snap off a piece with your hand. I was amazed about how fast you can make beef jerky with this thing, I was under the false impression that it would at least take overnight - not with this thing! I am now looking to expand its capacity of trays, comes with 5 but you can expand to 14 total...The beef jerky preparation process IS like work, so don't think it is an easy process. There is a reason that the stores get so much money for jerky, but if you are a jerky lover and don't mind some work - this could be just the ticket for you! Pay close attention to all the food preparation handling instructions and proper food safety instructions and you will have a great machine for many years.Tip - when making jerky, I learned when making some "pepper" type recently, the drier the jerky, the stronger the pepper flavor, doing the pepper flavor only two hours - had much less of a bite. So, it seems the drier the stronger - at least on the pepper flavor type - enjoy. (Note: on our "pepper" process, we had already cut the pepper mix by half, with the original flavor... but with the 4.5 hour dry time, it was still too peppery for me, wife loved it!)

Its a real nice product

This is a great item. I use it all the time. We have a small apt. and not alot of storage space. Using this lets me make things small and they take very little space to store. I didn't know anything about dehydrating food before I bought this so I bought a book that will help you if you are just starting out. I learned a lot of do's and don'ts. The food taste sometimes even better when you eat it because it causes the the flavor to intensify. Yum!!! It is very much worth it. The one thing I myself had a problem with is that it doesn't have an on/off switch. I found the answer for that, I put one on the cord. Now I have no problem. :)

Live in the Caribbean and have a fish business.Thought to try this out but did't expect much.Reading the other reviews I tumbled my Red Snapper, about 15 plate size ones, for 15 minutes.Worked like a dream but could have done with max. of 10 minutes.

The Rider is Coming

I was very impressed with Ghost Rider's bike in the movie and I hope they make a Remote Control bike. The real name of the bike is the HellCycle but they had to call it the Flame Cycle because the name might seem harsh to parents when thier kids say the word HellCycle so many times that it might seem offending. But this a close to a match that I would have on my nightstand. I will try to get the DVD of Ghost Rider and review it after I see it (I saw it on my bus home but not the whole movie). The last part I saw was where Johnny had just become Ghost Rider for the first time and killed a robber hanging out in an alley. So I gotta ride.

Thor ain't got nothing on me!

He's big, he's in black, and he doesn't talk. It's the Destroyer! If you see the semi-sentient armor constructed to combat Ragnarok, step out of the way.It's definitely nicer than the THor-buster Iron Man armor from which it was based, and considering the fact that it's an icon for Thor fanatics, its a must have for your collection - so it's worth the higher price.The only problem I have with this figure is that the hands are not articulated. It can't form a fist - but then the Destroyer was just meant to stand in a corner like any suit of armor and look scary.Must buy!
