Good replacement for the Becker BK-9

Since Camillus closed its knifeworks, including their Becker section, I bought the KABAR KB5019, which is an excellent replacement for the old war horse, the Becker BK-9, my all time favorite survival knife, which is almost impossible to find now! What a shame. The KABAR KB5019 is top quality, very impressive, sharp as a razor, it will last many lifetimes.

"Now this is a noif. A very big, sharp noif." This knife is built to take it. Best steel out there. The nylon hard sheath is really nice and locks knife in place for safety. Great for camping. Get the one with the serrated top edge for cutting rope, etc.

Big, Sharp and Durable!

Ka-Bar makes amazing knives. They're tougher than any knife I'ver ever had and stay sharp long due to the good metal used to make them and their girth. I highly recomend getting a partially serrated edge so cutting rope is easier. Also the sheath is nice and durable. The leather sheath just looks a little old fashioned for me though I have no problem with it. I got the ARMY engraved one because I'm in the Army and I don't think it'd go over too well if I carried one that said U.S.M.C.

great clipper

This is the third clipper that my wife and I have bought and also the best.We bought cheaper clippers in the past which did a O.K. job but not like this one.We have two cats a persian and a himalayan which we like to keep trimed in the summer with this clipper we finished the hair cuts in about twenty minutes instead of hours.Our cats didn't seem to mind as bad either.This might seem like alot of money for a clipper but compaired to two pet groomings at $50 to $80 a piece its a good buy.BUY THIS CLIPPER IF YOU HAVE A LONG HAIR PET!!!!!!!!!!!

5 Years and Going Strong

I highly recommend this to any serious dog groomers and owners with dogs that require regular grooming. I own a Giant Schnauzer(GS), a breed that does not shed, so I have to give her a haircut every month. The hair on the GS is both fine and coarse. This clipper is the ONLY one that is able to cut the hair without trouble. After using it for five years, or about 60 times, I have had zero problems with it. It runs a bit hot (heating up the blade) on the higher speed after 30 minutes of continued use. I find that I can either take a break at this point and let the clipper cool off a bit, or focus on areas that are less sensitive to a warm blade. A great product that you will consistently see at major dog shows and professional groomers.

the gold standard in clippers.

I purchased my original clippers back about 1985 for less than $50. They worked flawlessly for these many years on my various pairs of miniature schnauzers until, alas, I knocked them off the grooming table onto a cement floor where the case smashed into many pieces. The new one seems a replica of the old one which is refreshing since I assumed the casing now would be flimsier while encasing lesser quality innards. I'm happy to say that it seems the same great clipper as before. There were two changes I noted however. It now has two speeds and the cost has doubled.

Case Hunter Two Knife Set

I had this knife set back in the 1960s when I worked at a pack station in the High Sierras. I loved it and used it all the time. The little knife was my protector on more than one occasion. Sadly, the small knife was lost years and years ago, and I don't know what became of the larger one. I have written a book about those pack station years called "The Longest Trail" and it mentions the knife. I did a search before Christmas to see if it was even made anymore. Imagine my surprise when it popped up on the screen. I gave it to my husband for Christmas. His face lit up and he said "You found your knife!" Of course it was a new one, but "mine" none the less! You made us very happy!

Great Clippers, worth higher price.

I bought these clippers after using cheaper (~50$) Andis and Oster models for about 2 years. These are far superior - they cut easy and smooth, they do not wear out, and you can actually shrpen their blades at your local pet store.Only one drawback - Plastic adapter kit with different length adapters do not work. I bought original Oster adapter kit, for this cutter and it is impossible to cut the dog's hair with adapter kit. But it is not the clippers fault.Just buy 3 different length blades. they are easy to change. I bought 2 different length blades as my dos needs only 1/16 and 1/2. Also these clippers are soo nice in cutting hair - I almost do not use scissors anymore. Even fine trimming I do with the clippers.disclaimer - I am cutting my own dog, and do not participating in a dog show - I do not use them for comemrcial purposes..

Great Clippers

I have purchased 6 different clippers over the last 8 years. This is my second set of Oster's and I will never buy anything else again. The first pair were broken by my parents and husband after 6 years of heavy use (including horses, dogs and a cat). The rest of the clippers were $50-$100, purchased from pet stores and most broke within the first few uses. These are the absolute best clippers ever. I have a long hair cat that needs clipping every 6 months and she hardly fought the clippers this time. Sharp, powerful, and remarkably quiet. Love them!

I own a shih-tsu and a persian/himalayan. I have tried three previous clipper sets ($30-80) and they were totally worthless. These clippers cut right through matting and knots and leave a nice smooth short-hair finish.

Size matters

First off I'm 160lbs 5'8" with a 30 inch waist. This item seemed to be pretty well made but even when cinched down all the way there was at least a good 4 inches of wiggle room. Add a ballistic plate to this and there is absolutely no way it was going to stay in place. I gave 3 stars for the quality of stitching and material. I didn't return this because I had a friend that was a bit heftier than me and fits him fine. But if you are slim, look for something else.

What you expect from BlackHawk!

I just use this as a carrier for gear (pistol/magazines) while training students- using the BlackHawk! Quick Detach (QD) pistol mount system with various SERPA CQC holsters depending upon weapons presented. There is also room to mount a 4 place Talon Flex mag holder (now only available as a 3x model). This purchase was made thru BlackHawk on Amazon- cheaper than BH's list price. This may be why it's hard to be a BH dealer, but it's cheaper for us end users. Hope they don't go out of business, it will kill Vietnam's economy and leave a void in our supply for these quality made and designed goods.

BLACKHAWK! Long Gun Drag Bag - Coyote Tan

I purchased this product as a gift for my brother. I did some research and read some reviews and found many different choices for sniper rifle drag bags. Most of the others out there on the market work fine for range bags or something that is not going to be drug through dirt, rocks, or mud, but I wanted something more. This Black Hawk drag back is very well made. Most other drag bags have zipper issues or cheaply made pockets that will not protect your optics properly, but not this one. The pockets are very well made and have plenty of interior straps for holding optics and other equipment in place. The stitching is done very well and the bag even has padded shoulder straps for carrying on your back. The shoulder straps can be retracted into the interior of the bag for when it is being dragged. The main rifle pocket is very well padded, but the two exterior pockets have no padding at all, which is not a huge issue because of the interior holding straps stated before. I would tell anyone who is looking for a great product to pick this one up. I am a huge fan of Black Hawk products and own many. My brother is currently using his on his deployment and it is working well. If it works for a U.S. Navy Seal, then I think it will work just fine for anyone else looking for a well made drag bag.

Got this, thinking I even could use it as a backpack on shorter hunting trips. Well, It has the possibillity to be worn as a backpack, but this is no real substitute for a backpack. However, as a gun bag to the range and for travel, and for a days hike with your gun, I guess this is the most solid bag you can get. Lots of extra space for whatever you want to take to the range, and if it gets heavy, then, yes, you can carry the bag like a backpack. (It has no waist belt if you want to carry it fully loaded for a distance.) I have added some padding in the back to make the carrying better.The build quality is outstanding, and the material is tough. No doubt.It has some loops for attaching stuff, some are suitable for MOLLE clips. (the clips fit in all, but if you want to use one clip on two loops, then most are not in suitable distances to each other...if that made any sense)All in all a great bag for your gun and gear!

I received this doll in the mail, and the box was filthy! It was dirty and beat up! I took her out of the box, and a part of her hair was about 2 inches longer than the rest of her hair. I had to give her a hair cut. When I get a doll. I expect her to be good quality! I shouldn't have had to give her a trim! Just be glad that I was planning on deboxing her in the first place. I would have returned her if I wasn't going to debox her. You guys need to take better care of your products!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fits the M9 perfectly and is duty authorized in the Air Force. I have used it with no problems encountered while guarding VIP's and performing Security details and I know I can unlock and present the weapon very quickly. It did not take long to get used to the thumb unlock and draw movement.

All Around Winner

I was hesitant about buying this item because it was expensive. I am glad I splurged and purchased this item. It makes bathing my dogs an easy quick process. I have two dogs (border collie and german shepherd). It takes me approx. 10 minutes to shampoo, condition, and rinse each dog. You don't even have to use your hands to scrub the dirt with a towel. This device has a high pressure hose( you can adjust the pressure) that get down in between the dog's skin and fur and lifts out the dirt. It does it in a massage like way. My dogs love the sensation because they are still and seem to be relaxed while I am doing it.How it works? You simply place the pump in a tub or a sink where you are planning on bathing the dog. You run about two-three inches of water. Sit the pump in the water and turn it on. There is also an air controlled foot pump where you step on it to turn it off or on. The pump keep recirculating the water to clean the dog. I simply add a capful of shampoo to the water and the pump mixes it and sucks it up to the high pressure hose. When I am finished shampooing I let the water out and put clean water to rinse thoroughly.I hated giving my dogs a bath and this pump makes everything so much easier. It is expensive but I think with use over time it would make up the costs.

If you love the smell of CLEAN, FRESH and SHEER with a little sexy~ this is the scent for you! I absolutely love this fragrance so much that I have the perfume and the mini oil. I wear it at the beach and to a nice evening out. All I can say is: It is amazing!

Old lady's scent

I ended up giving this to my old aunt. It smells like old lady's scent turned powdery. I wish I read more reviews before purchasing this one. I will definitely go back to Jo Malone like a prodigal daughter
