Old-fashioned Elegance.

About three years ago we decided on new countertops in our kitchen. Of course, with the new tops we had to have a new sink. My wife and I looked around the local home improvement stores and found the Kohler Delafield top rimming sink. It was ideal and fit our somewhat old fashioned look perfectly. It was made out of cast iron with a heavy porcelain finish and weighed a ton. We loved it, and we both agreed that it suited our needs perfectly.Well, the sink was installed (by us) and has been completely satisfactory. If we somehow had to replace this sink , it would be with the same thing. Our faucet, although elegant, is not entirely satisfactory, but that is not the fault of the sink. If you want an old fashioned, elegant, heavy-duty, Iron/porcelain sink that fits above the counter, this is the one.Gary Peterson

This gleaming sink really steals the show!

First of all delivery was swift and expert! This 'old fashioned' white sink is flawless in it's soft, smooth lines and would lend itself well to any style faucet. I added an oiled bronze faucet and they make a stunning pair...just like vanilla ice cream and rich, dark chocolate! At 108 pounds it is American quality at it's best backed by a solid warranty.

Super Product! Nothing like Mom's

I've had this sink installed for about a year and a half and it looks as good now as the day it was installed. No chipping, scratching, staining or degrading in the glossy finish. It is just beautiful. I give it a scrub every couple of weeks to keep up with the hard water build up and it's held up perfectly. One thing to be aware of is that the rounded lip of the sink does stand proud of the countertop about a good half inch, rather than having a more flat profile as in a stainless sink. I mention this because if you're a leaner like I sometimes am when doing the dishes, your forearms may get tender from that lip. This is a great product and I think it will last and look good for a very long time. I love it.
