Truly Unlocks the WRX's Power

Cobb Tuning is the easiest form of engine management and works extremely well. I combined my Accessport with a map from Tuning Alliance that is calibrated for a AEM Cold Air Intake because Cobb does not recommend using the Accessport with anything besides the stock air box or their own air intake. If you have another aftermarket intake, check out Tuning Alliance because they will build a custom map for you. The Accessport was well worth the money. Installation only took about 10 minutes and it was very easy to follow the instructions. After installing the Accessport and reflashing the ECU, it definitely made a noticeable increase in my car's power. The live data features are also very cool and a nice touch. It tells you everything from boost target to exhaust temp to speed to fuel economy. There is also a cool performance app that allows you to do 0-60s, 1/4 miles, and a Dynamometer test that gets the WHP of the car. They are all nice features and work well. I bought a universal cell phone mount for my car that suction cups to the window and I put velcro tape to it and the back of the accessport. This makes it easy to always have live data but be able to take it off. The accessport is also great because if you get upgrades you can always get new maps to go with it or go get a protune. Well worth the money.Pros: - Increased Performance!!!! - Live Data - Fuel Economy - Easy Installation - Great Customer Service from Cobb - Expandability - Small device (screen is still pretty good despite being small) - Rev Warning Light - Tons of Features and Apps - Reads Check Engine LightsCons: - Stays on while plugged in when car is off (I usually just unplug it or put it in my glove box) - A little expensive, but that's to be expected - No stock maps calibrated for different intakes (go to Tuningalliance.com)

Take control of your Subaru ECU! I love this thing! The support is great and when you combine it with the Access Tuner Race personal tuning software....this combo is a must have. You can load new ECM maps, tweak current maps and create your own maps!

Best bang for your buck!

This is the easiest and most affordable way to get more torque and horsepower for your car. The accessport is relatively easy to install and once installed you will notice the gains right away. It will flatten out your power band and help with turbo lag. Be prepared for lower gas mileage of course partly due to the more aggressive settings but mostly since you'll love driving it at its limit! A few caveats: it can be a little difficult to get under the driver's side wheel to connect all the ports necessary and make sure you use the "ACN" maps if you live in Arizona, California, and Nevada. These maps are designed specifically for the generally lower quality gas in those areas. But these are minor issues, if you're on the fence about buying a Cobb accessport, just go ahead and pull the trigger!
