Good antenna, good range

This is a good antenna, and whenever I have done radio checks on the boat, I have gotten, "crystal clear" for a response. Integral cable is good, end was simple to put on, although the directions were lacking. Only complaint is that the pin that goes through the base to hold the antenna is already rusting, and I only used the boat 6 or 7 times in salt water last year, and I hose down the boat every use using a brush. If this boat were kept on a mooring or a slip, this would have only lasted 1 season and made a rusty mess.

A nice antenna for a small boat. The fact that it folds makes it easy to stow to put the cover on. The db rating is also suitable for a vessel that tends roll. If you have a larger boat that is stable, go with a higher db rating.

Nice value

When my 22" CRT went on the blink 2 months ago, it finally gave me the opportunity to replace it with a flat panel monitor on my main computer. I did extensive research before deciding to purchase the Acer AL1917CBMD 19". My expectations were high, but tempered by the fact that I only paid a little over $200. With that in mind, here are my conclusions. Among the positive features are:-aesthetically pleasant looking monitor-easy set up and configuration-clear picture with high resolution-contrast near CRT level-excellent flicker-free video displayI am hard pressed to find any negative features. But it may bear noting that I am unable comment on its durability at this time. I can say, however, that I have used this monitor intermittently for 2 months displaying mostly video and have had no issues at all. You should note, however, this is not a wide-screen monitor. So if you watch a lot of DVDs on your computer in wide screen-mode, this may not be the monitor for you.Bottom line: for this price, there simply is no other monitor with these features.

Acer needs to give attention to customer relations

Five months into my AL1917 warranty period the monitor failed. After spending much time with tech support, I was assigned an authorization # and told to ship (at my own expense) the monitor to Temple, TX for repair, and I should expect it to remain there 4 or 5 days. The monitor arrived back at my home 21 days later. The original problem was repaired but the built-in speakers no longer worked. Tech support tried to detect a cause with no result. It was suggested I buy a speaker or ship the monitor back to Temple (at my own expense). I told the tech that Acer personel had disabled the speakers and Acer should pay shipping. He said they don't do it that way. I suggested the problem could be solved quickly and cheaply by his sending me an external speaker. He said they don't do that. He also added that if he had speakers in stock, identical to those that were not working, he would ship them to me, but he had none. I asked if they would be shipped once available. He said I would have to call back. I asked if guidance would be given for installation if the speakers were ever provided. He said they don't do that. During one call, I asked to speak with a supervisor and was place on hold for 15 minutes before hanging up the phone. Needless to say, I've owned my last Acer product. Do a little checking on the company's responsiveness to complaints before making your purchase decision.

Great Value, Easy to Set up

This is my second Acer LCD (first one is now 6 months old) and both are working great. I needed a 4:3 aspect LCD and searched high and low - widescreens are taking over the market but document review is just plain silly on a widescreen.Easy to Use: I unpacked the monitor and base, snapped the base onto the monitor ('click'). I opened 2 of the three cords (DVI is included but I don't need it), plugged it into my laptop dock and power outlet, then turned it on. the light on the monitor goes from dark to green. I hit Fn F7 on my laptop, and the display came on. And that's about it. I never installed the driver since most computers already have what's required.Good quality: Colors are good, refresh rate is high enough to play games (although I don't), and the casing (which is black, not silver) is discrete.Only con: The monitor can tilt towards and away from you, but can't be adjusted upward/downward. If you need that type of flexibility and don't want to use a phonebook/stand to prop it up, look again.

Great Guns!

This is the second of two guns bought from this seller. Both are fantastic quality. My 9 year old son loves guns, but for obvious reasons isn't allowed a real one. This is about as close as he's going to get. This gun is probably the same weight as a real gun, looks great, feels real when held, has a revolving chamber for reality but cannot be made to fire so is utterly safe.

Great Solution for Storage - make sure you have help to install!

This system is exactly as advertised. I installed two kits above my two-car garage door (one kit on either side of the garage door opener). A kit consists of mounting plates (6 per kit) which attach to joists in the ceiling. Threaded rods and nuts connect to the mounting plates and then to a piece of angle iron which hold up the 3/4" 4x8 sheet of plywood (purchased separately)for each kit. The threaded rods make it easy to adjust the height of the shelves.I ran into three issues while installing: 1) the way that the ceiling mounting plates are made, they do not hold the nuts so that they will not turn; and they are too shallow to allow using a box wrench. You will need an open-end wrench that is relatively narrow to hold these nuts while you tighten them. A simple re-design of these pieces so the nut slides in snugly would have made things a lot easier while attaching the kit to the cieling. 2) A 4x8 3/4" sheet of plywood weighs a lot. Two people are required tp lift the plywood and hold it while holes are drilled and carriage bolts installed to keep it in place. 3) There are holes in the angle iron for two carriage bolts per support to go throught the plywood, but only one bolt is supplied for each mounting point. This is technically all you need, but for the money, I think they could have included them (along with a couple of spare nuts and washers!)If you cannot get some help when you install, you might be better off buying a smaller system made with coated wire (another vendor made that system). I installed one of these by myself with no trouble at all - though the storage area is 1/2 the size of the 4x8 sheet of plywood.

Great A/B Gun!

I already own an Iwata Revolution series CR gun, which has a much larger cup. I honestly ordered the CR by mistake as I was new to airbrushing and not really sure of which model to get. I finally decided to get the BR, as the smaller cup is more conducive to the type of work I do (basic beauty/foundation application). I am very pleased with it. It disperses product evenly and easily and the trigger is designed in such a way that I can easily control both air flow and product flow. I noticed that most, if not all, of the product that I place into the cup, gets used up. This did not happen with the CR, as the larger cup on it caused product to collect on the inside walls of it and wind up getting wasted. Prior to purchasing this gun, I researched it extensively and spoke to other artists about their opinion. The key takeaway that I got from one of the most respected artists in the business was, this gun does everything you need for makeup. Other more expensive models come with unnecessary bells and whistles that you simply do not need. The Revolution series BR is just as high in quality, and will last you just as long, but comes at a very reasonable price. If you are looking for a high quality, affordable airbrush gun for applying basic beauty makeup to the face, look no further. This gun gets it done without breaking the bank.

good brush for the money, but not the best

Had always heard Iwata was good but already had two Paasche brushes that worked. I saw the Neo was cheap at 45$ and now I know why. Finally spurged on this one and am happy with it but still not as good overall as the Paasche VLR 90 I have especially when it comes to sturdy construction. Would recommend it for someone looking for the biggest bang for the buck.

Best conditioner I've ever tried

My stylist recommended this as a once-a-month treatment. Work in the conditioner, put on a shower cap, wrap your head in a towel, then apply heat with a blow dryer for 10 minutes, leave on your hair for a total of 30 minutes, then rinse. It's like magic. My hair is curly and kind of fine, and I fight frizz. I blow dry my hair straight once a week or so, and using this conditioner makes my hair unbelievably silky and bouncy after a blow dry. I was out of my regular conditioner once several months ago, and I used this one, left it on for 2-3 minutes before rinsing. The effect was so terrific that I actually use this once or twice a week now. The texture of my hair is just so perfect when I do. It's absolutely worth the price.

I've used this product for a couple of years and was always happy for the results. You don`t need to use a lot, so it last really long, which helps given the price of it. Hair gets shiny and soft for sure. However I would recommend taking breaks using it cause after using it non-stop I felt like the results weren`t as GREAT so maybe our hair just needs a break from a certain product sometimes...

We've had this toy for over 6 months and I can say HONESTLY that my 2 year old has played with it every day that we have been home for her to play with it.A lot of medical kits for kids are put together badly and just seem "cheap" - but this one really doesn't it. I feel like I paid more for it than I did.The cookie monster stethoscope says "exercise make you healthy" "mmmm...strong heartbeat" and a very rhthmic "boom boom ba boom" that my daughter just loves.She was always scared to go to the doctor before, but we got this kit and had her watch "Elmo goes to the doctor" on sesamestreet.com and now she thinks it's fun!I really don't think you could be diappointed with this purchase. It is THE favorite toy at our house!

I have never worn perfume before because I honestly sneeze from 90% of them. I think they're usually overpowering and way too floral. I don't prefer to smell like a field.However, I felt like I needed a change and that I should try a perfume. I went through my Glamour magazine and sniffed all of the scents. By the end my nose smelled like a perfume store. Most were nauseating, however, when I came across Coco Mademoiselle, I loved it! I think it's really sexy and not too overpowering. For someone who hates perfume, that's really good. I'm so excited to wear it everday!

Great Stuff: Just Be Careful Who You Buy It From!!

My girlfriend has been using this product for years and it isn't cheap in department stores, running around $110.00. I found some here for $39.99 and thought I had hit the jackpot. Well, as it turns out, the product was either defective or bogus, probably the latter. My girflfriend knew within five minutes of her first use that something was amiss and she showed me the differences definitively. If you haven't tried this before, call Chanel and have them send you a sample so that you know what it smells like on your skin, know how it develops, and know how long it lasts. Caveat emptor! You get what you pay for!!

Fun toy to use with Fisher Price Little People

This was a nice addition to our toddler's collection of Little People toys. It plays a cute song when you push it, and one of the pieces has a spinning stand for one of the toys to go on, which adds an element of fun. The two train cars come apart but are easy enough for a young child to re-connect. The tiger and bear that come with the train are also very cute.

Fun Toy For Play

My two year old son loves this toy. He pushes the train all over the place and it makes fun noises and music. Although it's very bright and colorful. My son has thrown this train down stairs and has run it into walls etc and there is not a mark on it.. Also it still works, so it's very durable. It's great for him to play with and keeps him entertained. However, if you want a toy with educational and learning features, this is not really the toy for that. It has a few minor educational values such as hand and movement cordnation to move it and make the music go, but that's about it.All in all a great toy for fun, but not for learning. I would reccomend it though because all kids need a few toys that are just, toys.

really cute

I bought this for my youngest nephew's 1st birthday and he loves it. Right now he prefers listening to the train instead of moving it. He also likes carrying around the 3 animals that come with it. I'm planning on buying him the circus set for Christmas. Hopefully by then he'll have more interest in moving things around. Great toy, recommend it to anyone!
