Great camera with only a few cons, and a ton of pros!

Had this camera for 1 month, LOVE IT!Pros:- HUGE SCREEN!! Talk about being the center of attention when you whip this camera out. Definitely want to get some sort of a protective slip for it.- Great picture quality. What do you expect from SONY? Only the best.- Internal Memory. 2GB - memory stick? No neccessary with this. Internal hard drive rocks.- Sleek design. Doesn't look cheap, luxurious feel.- Video recording. Again...just like the pictures, it rocks.CONS- Weight. A tad bit on the heavy side, but the HUGE screen makes you forget about it quickly!- Close/Open slide. Not neccessarily a con, but it just takes a little getting used to.- Size. Not the biggest of cameras but definitely not the slimmist. Again, not a huge downside considering the huge screen but short time you get used to it!For more info, I would suggest going to [...] and seeing the video on this product! Great camera!

I've used Amazon to order various items before and was always satisfied with the result...quality at low prices.I ordered a Sony Dsc G1 on Sunday June 24th and it arrived Thursday, June 28th.I've taken about 50 photos under critical conditions, low light and using the automatic features of the camera.I'm amazed at how well it performs. Big LCD screen, the camera is a nice size for my big hands, just a little bigger then the regular Cybershots. The resolution in the screen is excellent.I was considering the DSC T-100 but it got such bad ratings that I went with this camera....sure glad I did!When I figure out some of the more technical features I'll post a more detailed review.

Sony didn't cut any corners with this camera

I bought a Sony a300 dSLR a few months ago, but decided it wasn't logical to carry around a $1000 camera to parties, so I went searching for a good point and shoot that took quality pictures for around $200. I stumbled onto this camera at a National Camera Exchange tent sale and immediately fell in love with it.Pros:- 9-point AF is great for a point and shoot- 3.5" screen is huge and crystal clear: have to see it to believe- 6 MP is more than enough for 99% of my shots and it doesn't take up so much space on my computer. It also does better in low light conditions because the pixels aren't so packed on the sensor.- 2 GB internal memory is awesome, and you don't have to buy expensive Sony memory sticks- Can store and listen to music with an 8 mm headphone jack- Nice charging dock- Beautiful menu displays- Toggle switch is the best way to flip through menus- Lens is hidden when closed so it isn't easily scratchedCons:- Buttons are a little tough to learn- Little big for most small camera casesWould recommend it for anyone. Just a fun camera to own.

Tired of cheap/loud shop-vacs, narrowed my choices to the Fein Turbo III, Festool and this Bosch 3931A. After reading all reviews and specs, decided on the Bosch. This Vac is not very popular on Forums and I don't know why. The Bosch is slightly more powerful than the Fein Turbo III and also very quiet. I added the accessory basket and bought several bags. I use the 1-1/2 Mr. Nozzle Hoses, and their 1-1/2 nozzles (complete line available from Woodworker's Supply) with all my vacs so the 2-1/4" tank fitting fit the Bosch with no problems. If I could find anything negative about it is it's weight, but I use it only in my shop, so that's not a problem for me. Some will complain about the cost of the unit and its accessories (bags, etc). I don't mind the cost since I'm a hobbyist and it's worth having a vacuum that matches the quality of all my other shop tools. Determine your requirements for a vac and if they're like mine, you won't be dissatisfied with the Bosch 3931A.

Self Cleaning Vacuum

We started using the Bosch 3913A Vacuum on a large concrete resurfacing project that is on the beach here in Southern California. In the past we have had problems with our vacuums clogging up very fast because of the dust mixed with the continual moisture. The self cleaning on this vacuum works great. Our second use of this vacuum was the the removal of paint in the same environment. It worked great. The automatic self cleaning feature is a must. We found nothing negative about the vacuum.

Great tool!

I looked pretty hard for a good shop vacuum (Festool, Fein, Porter-Cable and others)and I'm pleased with this unit. It is quiet enough to carry on a normal conversation with someone when it is running, which means I'm much more prone to use it than my old screamer vac. The Power Broker function works as advertises, the barrel has plenty of capacity for my needs, it accepts hoses from other vacuums, the hose it comes with is very good quality and it fits my Festool sanders, and the self-cleaning filters keep the unit functioning at peak performance. The auto on/off feature is great, but a lot of higher end vacs have this feature too. No, it doesn't come with attachments, but if you have another vacuum that your are replacing I would think you could use those hoses and attachments like I did. Lots of suction power, and it moves a lot of air. No exhaust blower, but I imagine that's how they got it so quiet. Highly recommended!

Very pleased!

I've owned a pair of these stands for about 6 months now and I have been very pleased with them. I have a pair of paradigm Studio ADP-590's on them which fit quite nicely.The stands are very good quality. They metal pieces are very thick and solid. They do not feel 'cheap' in any way. There are adjustable leveling feet on the bottom in-case your floor is not quite even. If you have carpet you can use the spiked feet.Another nice feature of these stands is that you can route your speaker cable through the hole in the vertical part of the stand hiding the wire until it reaches the floor.I think these stands will hold up very well over time.

I was skeptical about buying such expensive stands but once they arrived, I was happy to see that they are well worth the money. They are very sturdy and sold built. The only complain that I have is that because of small base, they can be unstable on carpet.

Nice stands

Nice design and sturdy all-metal construction. Not too heavy and the base isn't that wide, so probably not so suitable if you have tall speakers or kids running around that are liable to knock them over.One of the stands I received had a slight bend in the top plate - Bell'o customer support were excellent however and dispatched a replacement part the next day.Overall very happy with these stands.

This lovely necklace looks like the real thing. I'm crazy about emeralds but can't afford the genuine article. Time alone will tell how it wears but I have had good experience with vermeil and cz. I'll feel like a queen wearing this fine piece to our little town's weekly dance.Update April 2011 -- I took this necklace on a trip and when I got back home I realized that one of the small green stones had come out. Well, this can happen with jiggling in the car I suppose. I found the stone and saw that one of the pointed ends had broken off. This is CZ?? I thought cz was tougher than that. It makes me wonder if it is really just green glass. Well, I can glue it back in place, minus the tiny broken-off part. But I really didn't expect this to happen.It is still a lovely necklace and I'll continue to wear it with joy.

Great for the price

We installed this backboard on our existing pole & support bracket. It looks good, just slightly smaller than I would have thought. We've played 3 on 3 games several times on our driveway & the goal is great, absolutely no complaints. You can tighten the bolt underneath the breakaway part of the rim to get the proper tension on the rim, so it's not too tight or too bouncy. Overall it's probably not as sturdy as a more expensive backboard, but it's well worth the price & it will hold up just fine I think. I'd recommend it.

Good product for home use

Good product and it arrived quickly. Although it was packaged properly, the backboard came with 3 deep scratches. I would fault Amazon for poor quality control before shipping it as it couldn't have happened during shipping due to the proper packaging. Since the kids wanted this installed asap I choose not to return it. Overall nice size board especially if you don't have a very big playing area. Purchased it with the converter kit which worked very well with this board for a wall mount installation.

Very nice backboard set

This backboard and rim set is very nice, looks professional. Very sturdy, and well made. Amazon price beat MOs! And it was delivered to my home. Mounted it on my garage roof and now the kids can shoot hoops for and hour after school. The acrylic clear plastic does not block sunlight coming from behind, so it's unobtrusive. Bought the roof mount at Amazon as well, see my comments and recommendations on that.
