5Better quality than I expected, almost everything you need
By Glenn J. Sullivan
I worked in an auto body shop when I was younger and these are so much better than the old models. I sprayed my fence, shed and part of my house. Used latex paint, thinned with water on the 1.8 nozzle. It worked just fine. Having the regulator at the gun was very helpful for fine tuning the spray. Will try some lacquer and urethane on some re-finishing projects this winter.I researched just about every HLVP paint gun out there. This set had everything I was looking for. Note: Search around using different search terms. The pricing from different providers can vary as much as $40. Check for price plus shipping.(1) 1.8mm Primer Spray Gun; (1) 1.4mm Topcoat Spray Gun; (1) 1.0mm Touch-up Spray Gun, (2) 1 Liter Aluminum Cups, (1) 125cc Stainless Steel Cup. Also includes: (1) Regulator (0-180 PSI 0-12 BAR); (1) Face Mask; (1) Cleaning Kit; (1) Spanner Wrench; (1) Hex Wrench; (1) Brush; (2) Filters. Also included but not in the picture or description is the MINI INLINE AIR FILTER-Paint Spray Gun-Tool Water Trap by TCP Global, an addition value of $9.96. This is needed to keep the water from the compressor out of the gun and the material you are spraying. Put this in line before the spray gun.The quality of the spray guns is very good. Well made, good precision adjustments. Comfortable in your hands. I like that the spray pattern knob is on the side and the spray volume knob is on the back. They come with metal paint containers. You have a metal to metal connection with a compression gasket where they meet. No issues with loose connections, leaks or stripped threads on plastic containers.Having the small regulator at the spray gun is very helpful when working to get the desired spray pattern. I put a male and female quick connect on the regulator so that I can attach it between the hose and any of the guns I am using. To get the right spray, start with a viscosity cup for measuring the thickness of your material. Earlex SG244 Liquid thickness/Viscosity measuring Cup Ford #4. Google for viscosity charts to learn how thick materials should be.Then it takes adjusting the spray pattern, volume of paint, and air pressure to get the right volume and atomization of the spray desired. If you are not experienced I suggest starting with water and practicing with all the adjustments. Run each out to its max and min to see what they do ( for air pressure try from 10 to 50 lbs ) and then work them in combination to see how different combinations of settings affect the spray. If you are spraying water you can do this on a large sheet of paper, an old sheet of plywood, the side of your garage or your fence. Lots of area to see what different adjustments do. Better to do a few light coats than try for a thick coat and get drips. When you have actual paint etc. you will want to practice on some paper or cardboard to get the adjustments right, before spraying on your project. The guns disassemble with the tools provided. Some of the nuts may be a little tight the first time getting them off. After you spray, immediately clean out the gun to avoid clogging. Google, spray gun cleaning for write ups and videos. So after you have played around with them, you want to clean out the lubricant that shipped on the guns parts. Tear them down, clean the shipping oil and reassemble. Now you have a clean gun ready for use.Having the spray gun and paint strainer stand is very helpful. Otherwise it is difficult to hold the gun, and strain the paint into the paint cups. The only thing this kit does not have is the paint strainers. It would only be a few pennies to throw in a few paint strainers to get you started. Otherwise you need to order them or go out and get some. It is highly recommended to strain your paint so it keeps any small particles out of the small passages in the spray guns. It is a real pain to have to stop in the middle of a job to tear down and clean out a clogged spray gun. Each of the guns has a removable filter just below where the paint cups screw on. When cleaning the guns, remember to remove the filters and flush them out. There are two replacement filters in the kit.Just remember you should get some quick connectors to screw onto the paint guns, regulator and other in line parts. Amazon and Harbor freight are good places to look. You will also need some Teflon thread tape for any of your screw connections.Hope this review helps. Have a good time spraying.

5great product at a great price
By De Leon
I was skeptical about this paint gun set, even though it was recommended to me by my cousin (a longtime painter). My body shop man tried it and was very impressed with the quality and result. It does not compare to a $500 paint gun, but it's definately better than many $250 paint gun sets.

4Nice Guns for tthe $$
By E. Stewart
Have sprayed many vehicles over the years both working at shops and in my shop at home. Was very impressed with the overall spray quality of these guns for the money. If you're wanting some guns to work with for home projects and want to keep your cost down then I'd recommend these as a buy. I used them on my teenage son's Camaro and they worked very well. I like the fact there are 3 in the set so you can keep 1 for primer and another for base and clear.

5Good Value For The Price.
By John D. Peterson
A good quality set for the occasional user. Recommended to the "casual mechanic". I'm not sure how it would hold-up under everyday use, but if you're a weekend mechanic like me, this is an affordable set that will do the job.

5300 lb man loves this thing!
By S. Mark Futrell
I love this creeper. I am over 300 lbs and I thought it would poke me on the back of my arms and under my shoulder blades, but it did not. The dip in the frame is great for when you need to rest your arms, and it did not poke there either. I was able to lay just fine on the creeper and I have a 52" chest, it rolls fine on my cemented pebble driveway too. Low to the ground. The assembly was a breeze! Very comfortable! Would overly recommend. Very sturdy, not a cheapo.

5GOOD VALUE
By J. Kintzel
Condidered a much more expensive creeper for my 60-year old body, but this works well. Supports my head nicely, not like my old flat creepers.Creeper is quite comfortable and supports my head. My neck is not sore from holding up my head now! Worth the money.

5BEST Creeper Made!
By William Kane Howard
If you're looking at this creeper don't waste your time looking any further! This is the best design I've ever seen! I've looked at creepers from the tool trucks and the tool stores, and this creeper my friend, is the best. The ball bearing wheels roll with very little effort. The wheels are also very eye pleasing. I even rolled around in my house on the carpet with it! It rolls so easily. The frame is sturdy, it's strong, quality at it's best! In a previous review, one owner complained that the head rest would return to the flat position accidently... I have no idea what that guy did to get the head rest to fall, but I even put my shoulder into the lever trying to get the head rest to fall and it would not fall. When you raise the head rest, it is secure! It is very simple and effortless to adjust to your desired angle. The creeper is covered with a stain resistant vinyl. The frame rides low so you can squeeze under lower vehicles. The frame has four cross members which makes this creeper extremely rugged. The casters also having bearings in the swiveling mechanisim. The head rest has three positions. The head rest works flawlessly! I want to make that point very clear. I believe the previous complaint about the head rest was miss leading. This is one SOLID creeper! For $50, I have no idea how you could go wrong. Shoot, after using it, I would have paid $150 for it! ATD gets 5 stars for this creeper. I'm glad I got it.

4Very solid product
By Michael James Wamback
Drive a classic 76 Trans Am - and get lots of scratches and chips on the bumpers from street parking. Wanted a decent polisher for removing occasional scratches and periodic repainting of bumpers. Was very impressed with this product. Seems nice and solid, 11 amp motor has lots of power. Very basic in terms of what comes with it - but for about $60.00 you don't expect a lot of extras. (Besides, extra pads and such are readily available at your local auto store for a few dollar.) Not unusual of polishers of this quality to be $150.00 to $250.00 or more. Slow start is a great feature. A bit on the heavy side - but I consider that a plus as it means less plastic. Comfortable to work with and speed seemed smooth. Tried it on a few scratches on my rear panel and it took them out with a bit of rubbing compound with almost no effort. If you want a quality product for home use and don't want to spend a fortune, then I would definitely recommend this polisher. Not much in the way of instructions, but not much assembly required and it was pretty easy to figure everything out. Since this is the first polisher I've used, I really have little to compare it to, but I am very happy with it and expect that you will be as well. Can't wait for my next full day off so I can grab this tool and give my car a great all-over detailing.

5heavy, loud, powerful, helps develop `Popeye' arms . .
By trebe
This buffer has plenty of power to get the job done, and appears to be well worth the money. Some minor assembly is required. There is a `manual' but it does not contain any instructions, instead it mostly covers general safety. Assembly is fairly simple. You first attach the curved top handle, either with or without, the straight side handle. The handle can be installed for either right or left hand operators. The buffer is top heavy, so installing the side handle is highly recommended. This unit comes with the accessories to get started right away. For buffing, it has a wool pad, and rubber backing pad. For sanding, a Velcro backed hard plastic disc is included, but you will need to provide the sandpaper inserts. A special wrench for locking down the rubber backing pad is included.Controls are pretty basic. There is a throttle switch on the bottom of the handle, with a lock button to keep the motor running. The speed control dial is on the top of the housing, and goes from 1 to 6 (maximum). The buffer starts to whine at around level 3, and gets screaming loud at full speed, when ear protection is definitely recommended. The amount of vibration will vary according to the task, and motor speed. When sanding or buffing fine dust is typically produced, so you may want to wear eye protection and a dust mask.If you are into weightlifting, using the buffer on a vehicle may not be too difficult, but for those not so physically fit, managing the weight and vibration, could be a challenge. Because of the tool is about 18 inches long, your hands end up positioned about a foot apart, in order to keep the torque generated by the buffer under control. Just a little inattention can result in losing control, or dropping the buffer, and you don't want to hurt yourself, damage your paint job, dent your vehicle, or damage anything else. The supplied wool buffer is quite thick, and does a pretty good job, but you do need to apply pressure for it to work. For the average sedan, buffing the hood and trunk should be the easiest. Things get harder when you do the sides, or curved or irregular surfaces, and have to both support the weight of the buffer, and apply pressure to the surface. Buffing non-flat areas usually requires changing angles, and varying the point of contact, and amount of pressure applied. Users will need to find the grip and techniques that work best. Buffing will require some finesse at times, and if your muscles are straining, this is when accidents can happen, or you can hurt yourself. Doing the roof can be tricky as well. The listed weight of eight pounds, may not sound like a lot, but if you are bracing your body, locking your forearms, and squeezing hard on the handles for an extended period of time, you may find your muscles a bit sore, or in `shock' from the vibration, if you overdo it. Just go easy when using it for the first few times. The pictured buffer has a blue plastic housing and black handle, but the unit also comes with an orange plastic housing. It has a ten foot cord with a twin blade plug, and comes with a set of spare brushes. The buffer does produce very good results, so if you have a strong back, and the upper body strength, it could be a very cool buy.

5Familiar, Yet Freshened
By John Florian
This is the 3rd ... er 1st of these that I've owned. Probably 15 years ago I'd bought a Best Fortress 750 and it had served me well. I needed another but Best had been acquired by PowerWare and had a migration map to a nearly identical model (PW 5115), which I bought and would describe as the same but with improved battery management and simpler indicators. The PowerWare is now better than 8 years old and still on the OEM batteries.Meanwhile the once trusty Fortress has, either by age or increased on-battery time or poorer quality replacement batteries, I don't know but the replacements just seem to last for fewer years each time, despite always buying the same make/model batteries. Compared to the PowerWare, still chugging along on the OEM batteries, the Fortress now started to irk me every time it wanted feeding. Then a new warning, continuous beep. Consulting manual tells me that it has an internal failure.Time to shop and Amazon doesn't disappoint by offering this -- I'll call it 3rd gen. -- model, now known as the Eaton PowerWare 5115. The "Eaton" part is new and must represent another acquisition, I suppose. I elected to buy it and had it with usual Amazon Prime speed, two-day UPS. I saw one other 'net retailer with a lower price with shipping, but would be shipping across the US to me and I thought about the shipping time. Rather than gamble with the other retailer, I chose Amazon. Smartly as it turned out because now the Fortress was overheating the batteries. A day after I place my order!Once again, this "model" has been improved and now offers USB in addition to the traditional DB9 serial port for monitoring. Also on the back are (4) 5-15 power receptacles arranged 2x2 without enough room for power-packs but plenty for a standard 120V plug. Also there are 2 RJ45 connectors for Ethernet (or phone IIRC). It mostly seems like the good ol' PowerWare 5115 I've come to depend on for just working w/o fuss, but improved. It does have one design flaw that with proper respect can be coped with. There are two batteries, typical small 12V units, shaped like that of a motorcycle's and they are arranged with their bottoms facing each other. This "vertical" part is fine as they are of no-spill design. However the UPS hookup wires consist of one short wire at the front (first off, last on) and another longer wire from the internal rear (last off, first on). This longer wire has to coil up somewhere and tends towards a battery pack guide rail. If you don't "steer" the wire clear purposely you might, while moving the battery pack in/out, damage the wire's protective sleeve and maybe the insulation too.If this 5115 turns out as good as my old 5115, I could only appreciate it more if it came colored black instead and maybe had a simpler LCD panel instead of the discrete LEDs. Maybe in another 10 years!
