A legit 350 watt sub! Sounds great!

I have three of these 12w3v3-4 (4ohm) subs connected to a JL 1000/1v2 playing it at 1 ohm. SLAMS! I had two w7s before with two 1000/1v2s but i sold it. The 3 w3v3's are comparable to that last system and thats saying alot! It moves alot of air, is LOUD and plays really clean. Quality sub and low price. I also like how you can buy several ophm versions of this sub to match whatever ohm you want to run. Great sub, seriously, buy this over kicker, rockford, or alphine.... etc.

I absolutely love this woofer. i have had it for almost 4 years and it still hits just as hard as the day i got it (given the break in period). I love JL! they make a quality product to last and that sound amazing! I have been installing car stereos for nearly 10 years, so i have been around the block. to say this is the best woofer money can buy! or even this is the best woofer for the money, would be lying. However, if you have the money always put it into a reliable system that fits your listening needs and wants. This is one of the most accurate, dynamic, and reliable woofers i have ever used! and for only being powered by 350watts RMS (recommended rms for this woofer, peak is 500) it hits hard! most people are surprised its a 12" let alone just one on less than 500 watts. I would definitely recommend and have recommended this woofer! However, BUY THIS WOOFER FROM A JL AUTHORIZED RETAILER! if you don't, the warranty is voided.

The 10inch version of this sub is the best 2012 subs in cnet reviews. Very good built. Good efficiency, sensitivity rating.Just look at the all black cone with tiny JL logo... this sub means real bass business.I run this 300 rms, sealed and i am really happy.Though I have this in my sedans trunk and I wish i had more bass. Could try ported enclosure, or 2ohm version for more power if you are using it in sedans trunk.Although apline swr is less efficient. If you have a smaller enclosure you can go with apline SWR. If you are doing ported then also apline swr may be better as its need smaller enclosure. Alpine swr is better suited to applciation over 500rms, which this JL cant handle
