Very nice & sturdy case

I purchased this for my new 80gb IPOD and found it to fit nicely and the cover over the wheel does not affect its sensitivity at all. As other reviewers have noted, it does get scratched but since it is plastic, that is to be expected and its sole purpose is to protect the IPOD from getting scratched.Someone wrote below that it was "plasticky" and not sturdy. If this case is anything, it's very sturdy and robust. It fits snugly and so far I have not had any problems with the cut-out hole for the headphone jack. I have used an AV cable to plug into my stereo without any problems. Obviously, not all cables and headphones are the same size, so you do need to aware that it could be a potential problem for you.I have had no problems plugging in the power cable, accessing the hold button, or anything else. If I were to have any complaint (but this could go either way and is a personal preference), I would like for it to have some type of mini rubberized strips on the back to prevent it from sliding around. If it is sitting on clothing or other slick type surface, it slides easily. I've had it hit the floor once due to this, and plan on finding some very thin strips to help stabilize its movement.I have read a lot of complaints about IPOD covers that have a covering over the wheel and its effect on the sensitivity, but this is definitely not one of those. The quick find feature (when you are scrolling through a list and the alphabet pops up) works great. Overall, I highly recommend this case.

Probably the best ipod case I've seen to date.Everything gets protected here. Screen and spin wheel are covered.Included is one faceplate and 2 backs. 1 is for a 30gb and the other is for a 80 gb ipod. Case fits like a glove, you won't be disappointed.

Great Product!

This is a great case. Note: The box contained 1 face plate, and 2 bottom case pieces (one for 30G the other for the 80G). I have had no problems with the case other than the headphone port. Yes, the port is great for headphones, but it will not fit my audio splitter, video out, or other 3.5mm cables. So...I had to shave a little bit of rubber off of the cables, no big deal. The click wheel protector is very responsive, and the protective plastic over the screen and the rest of the case is also strong. This is a great buy.
