Works perfect...

I'm not sure why so many on Amazon buy the smaller pull out garbage cans when this one will hold so much more thus you take out the garbage less often. The unit installs in 5 minutes. Pro tip, when installing the back two screws don't put them in the mounting holes put them in the mounting slots and don't tighten all the way down until you slide the unit back in, then tighten. If you don't do this the tracks get pinched since the tracks are not parallel. Overall it's very sturdy, functions extremely well. Only complaint the system is designed so the garbage can locks in if you push it in all the way. I don't need this feature but I expect over time the rubber pieces on the back will wear and it won't lock in as tight. But we typically don't push it all the way back in thus it doesn't lock. Personally for me if I had to do it all over again I'd rip the rubber pieces off thus defeating the lock. No big deal though. I thought the price was a good value and seems better than anything you can buy in a big box store. Haven't had it long but seems well built and will last a long time. Our kitchen looks so much nicer without a garbage can in the way. Works perfect with our costco kitchen bags.

Installation struggles

This is a great product and ultimately did the job; however, installation required a little know-how. I needed to drill additional holes and align brackets differently than instructed. If you're not handy, it might be difficult.

My wife wanted to place the trash can out of site in our kitchen. I ordered this waste bin and installed it in about 30 minutes. Now she opens the door, deposits the waste and closes the door. The unit slides in and out easily and the can used tall kitchen bags.Shipped and arrived quick.This unit cost was a little pricy but worth the cost.
