BEWARE Problem with installation instructions in box

We recently purchased this faucet from amazon and installed it yesterday based on the instructions that came in the box. It turns out that the instructions were not the correct ones for this product even though they have the correct model on them. We are going to have to take the whole thing out because the direction for putting in the drain lift rod was not included. This is a very nice faucet but if you buy this model make sure you download the instructions directly from kohler.

A great faucet...the classic white ceramic handles add a nice touch. We are renovating a barn into a house and this was the perfect mix of new, polished chrome and the old school look with the handles
