pentax 10x50 DCF ED bino
By Kenneth R. Mcmurphy
If you are looking for top notch binoculars, you are likely considering the big three, Zeiss, Swarovski, Leica and possibly some others. I have used my Zeiss 10X40's since 1993 and decided to pass these bino's along to my son. I was fortunate enought to pick up a pair of Pentax DCF ED bino's. All I can say is that to me they are absolutely on par with the elite three..but for about half the cost. Test them side by side yourself and there is no way that any miniscule differenc is worth twice the money. I am blown away with the quality of these bino's for the money!

Pentax 10x43 DCF ED Binnocular
By Dorman Long
Compares very favorably to much more expensive glass. I have a pair of Leica 8x32's and was looking for a pair of quality 10x glasses without breaking the bank. Pentax has met my objective. I have always been impressed by the Leica's and thus far have been just as impressed with the Pentax DCF ED!

Superb! Top-notch!
By G. Hopwood
I have owned these binoculars for a number of years and they are equal or better than any other brand. I am a bird watcher as well as a mountain hunter and these binos are perfect for both. They are rugged, comfortable in the hands and unsurpassed in optical quality. You could pay more but you will not get more. Do yourself a favor and buy these and use the savings for something else you need.
