Beats a bag of peas

A bag of frozen peas or your own bag of ice can be helpful, but if you're a swimmer (any athlete) who has had shoulder issues, the coverage of this device, from scapula around to pec hits everything attached to the shoulder girdle.

Works OK

Cuff fits well if you are sitting up straight or standing. If you lay back in a sofa it doesn't make solid contact. My ex wife had a different kind several years ago that had two hoses which continually fed iced water, one in and one out. This only has one and is not near as effective.
