Eskimo auger

I puchased this auger for my strike master 3. I had to drill out the engine shaft hole to fit the Eskimo auger bolt and I also beveled the end of shaft so that it fit all the way into auger 7/8" hole. Very easy mods. This auger is by far the fastest I have ever used. Highly recommended!!!

I let a buddy of mine borrow my 8" auger and it came back in pieces. I replaced the original with this 10" model but was able to salvage the 8" after all. The 10" inch is much more solid in build and design than the 8", but it is noticeably heavier. I take my little son with me out on the ice and will probably not use the ten inch with him, but it will come in handy when I go north and get into the bigger trout that like to tail-hook the ice and break off the line. Eskimo makes great gear for ice fishing and I have never been let down. The 8" auger is the only thing from Eskimo that I have had break and that was 100% operator error/negligence.
