These side steps fit perfectly in the 2010 FJ Cruiser. The actual product has 2 recessed step areas, instead of only 1 as shown in the picture. I actually like the 2 step areas better and it was a nice surprise when I got the item. They are also easy to install, as long as you have the right tools. The black color blends well with the car. It's now easy to get in and out of the SUV with these side steps. And I got it on sale too! With free 2 day shipping! What more can you ask for? I love Amazon! Thanks!

This is second set of Westin side steps. The first pair rusted from the inside out and had to be removed for safety reasons. Given I live in northern Michigan, I attributed this to the brutal winters & the amount of salt used. (Not sure however how they could rust from the inside out though.) This new pair only had two support arms for each step, which are attached to the frame. (The old set had three support arms for each step and each arm was a double "tongue" giving greater overall lateral support.) In addition the new steps were connected to a different part of the frame. This results in greater torque being applied to the arm when the step is used. In addition I had to buy a specially sized tool to connect the steps to the support arms. (Should I be surprised the tool was not included?) The tool was metric, and so I foresee no further use of this tool until the new steps (most likely) rust out from the inside and I have to take them off. (Why metric? I thought Westin was an American company?) Since the new steps were only put on 4 weeks ago, I am unable to give further insight. Because of the "good lucks" I am giving them two stars.

I installed these easily. Havent tested them off road yet. Seem Sturdy. I got them on sell for 56 bucks. Awesome deal via amazon.
