This set is very comfortable. I like the split fastener design. Ecspecially when in screwing things off. I have my 1 1/4, 2's, 3's and my tape. It changes alot from task to task but they stay open and dont sway around and dont sag closed like others. I just had to adjust mine for this winter to fit my jacket and extra clothing after wearing them all summer and thats a what i was worried about when buying fixed bags. Not an issue anymore. They are very adjustable and very durable and seem like they will last forever. I have the suspenders also for when they are really loaded down with an impact, nailer, fasteners, shims etc and this unit does a great job of not making me soar and keeps me comfortable. Rig feels solid to body and doesnt flop around or spill items when i bend over doing layout or when on knees. High mount hammer holder doesnt alow my hammer to smack my leg all day. Not alot of little pockets but enough for what you need. I keep a small case in my belt for apexes, countersinks and bits. There are enough pockets for nailsets and bits and pencils so dont think your getting no organization I just keep alot of small stuff on me so i dont have to stop what im doing to grab a 3/16" bit or a #3 phillips for example. Leather holders in the right handed pouch for my glazer bar, razor blade, dikes etc which has formed to the tools over a years and keeps them secure. Well thought out design and i prefer how everything ties together as one peice so i dont have to adjust the bags when i put them on. All the leather is very thick and strong. Fabric is light, sturdy and is strong. Rivets and stichings are showing no signs of wear and tear. Padded belt. Very light for what you get. American made and no company can compare to the quality Occidental produces.Update november 19th 2011After still wearing these bags they have not worn down at all. not one stich, rivet, or anything has shown any sign of wear. Im super impressed. pockets still stay open. everything is comfy. Buy them!

At last a belt with consideration for lefties!!! Dexterity aside this is just a quality belt from a great company that is worth every single cent. Very comfortable, spacious without being too bulky and awkward, love all the organization within the main bag so your not fumbling looking for things. They also hold onto your "junk" snugly so there's no risk of something falling out and damaging things, a problem I've had with previous bags. Nice oversized tape holder that can handle a 30' tape no problem. Love the special spot for the speed square, just shows the thought that went into the design. Love the fixed bags, they stay where they're supposed to and distribute the weight properly. My only gripe so far is more with my hammer than with the belt. It seems to be pulling my pants down but I'm not concerned -- pre-installed loops for suspenders will make this a quick fix and even more comfortable. Bought from Medford Tools, do yourself a favor and buy one of these. Thanks Occidental!!

Very comfortable. Even when heavy, they are still comfortable because the belt is padded and distributes weight evenly. They are nylon, and therefore lightweight. There are two pockets towards the outside of the bags on each side (as opposed to 1 on each side). VERY useful to have all these pockets.Well made by Occidental.I added Occidental's high mount tape holder (product 5037) onto the belt right above the tool bag on the right side, and the "stronghold light" suspenders, which work great.
