What's not to like

These are almost impossible to beat; do everthing fins. Comfortable, fast, and great for snorkelling and scuba. Fairly compact and light weight for travel. Nearly the ideal snorkel/scuba travel fins. I don't think I've seen anything better.

Oceanic Viper Open Heel is a great fin. Durable and flexible with minimal to moderate effort when swimming in currents. Fits various foot sizes and is comfortable with booties. Perfect for a beginner as well as seasoned divers looking for high quality at reasonable prices.

For the money, good fins

I used to use a longer fin, but purchased these because I had misplaced mine somewhere over the years.With socks, they fit snug (2XL) and without the were short, but falling off at the heal. I wear a size 13 shoe, not narrow ... 13 DI did manage to keep them on by making the straps snug, but my toes were a little cramped. I noticed the problem when trying to swim below the ocean surface. Seemed like the first few strokes would knock it right off. These fins do not float, so I was fortunate that I was only in 12 feet of water.I made the mistake of letting them stand in the sun for a bit and they quickly created a new shape for me. It returned to its original shape over time.I would recommend either purchasing these well in advance of your vacation, to give you time to try them and return them. I never bothered to try them until I went to my first beach trip.The quality is there, and they held up great. They were shorter than I expected, but I was still speedy in the water.
