a fad item with multiply uses

a Panini press that can be used for other chores. The pan with the ridges can be used for a steak grill and the weight can be used for a bacon press.

This is a very useful pan for grilling sandwiches, vegetables, meat, or fish. It has a non-stick coating, so it requires little or no oil. It comes with a heavy weight press which ensures good contact between your food and the bottom of the pan, making the food cook fast and evenly. I much prefer grilled sandwiches cooked with this pan because they come out crispy with well-melted cheese, rather than oily and still only partially cooked as they did in my old frying pan. Note that although this pan bears the "All Clad" label, it is made in China. The red apron is nice, too.
