It's OK
By Lucas Black
These are average-quality ocarinas made in Taiwan by the WPN and TNG companies and imported by a company called "St. Louis Ocarinas". They mark up the prices and sell them here in the US. But they are not the best quality and STL has a zero returns policy. I have the particular model shown on this page. It has airy high notes and deffective subholes and isn't really worth the price. For good quality ocarinas, Google "Focalink" "Maparam" "Mountain Ocarinas" "Hind Ocarinas" and "Songbird Ocarinas". Focalink is located in Korea (I believe) and has high shipping charges, but superior quality over STL for similar prices. And with Songbird Ocarinas now importing some of Focalink's fine instruments and offering them at the same prices but with cheaper shipping to the US, there's really no reason to buy from STL except for their wide variety which, I'll admit, they do have.BUT let me say, these are real instruments. As a note to buyers, this isn't some junk toy for kids, it's a real musical instrument. As I've said, there are better quality makers out there, but STL's ocarinas and many ocarinas in general are genuine musical instruments suitable for much more than just Zelda fans.

Quality is good just not the color...
By Bobbathy Tim Franklin
I've had this ocarina for about, lets say 3 weeks now. Although I'm no expert at ocarinas this instrument sounds pretty good. I've played the Zelda games and have learned some of the songs off of the Zelda song book that comes with this instrument and when I play them it sounds just like in the game. If thats any consolidation to anyone. The only thing I really don't like is that when I got my ocarina I couldn't tell if it was blue or not, and, as it turns out, its a dark purple. That is the only thing that I really didn't like and I think I can fix the color, although, thats not supposed to be the consumers problem now is it. This is why I gave it a 4 out of 5.

This is beautiful ocarina
By R. Roberts
The ocarina is beautiful and the sound quality is very good. The included song books and instructions, which were written for this precise model of ocarina, were also very helpful at getting strated. I recommend this ocarina and this seller (STL Ocarina).
