Worth every penny

I bought this on a whim, thinking it would spruce up my garage a little. And it exceeded my expectations. I did spend a day prepping the floor by cleaning it thoroughly and then allowing it to dry for another 2 days. I did this because everything I read stressed the importance of a clean starting surface. Then I got to the application of the epoxy. First, you mix the two cans together, and then it just goes on like paint. While it's wet, you sprinkle on the color flakes. Really couldn't be easier. I have a 2 and a half car garage, so I used a little more than 2 gallons (had to buy 3 kits though). With the leftover, I even painted some wooden stairs and some exposed brick that was around my shed. The stuff does begin to solidify rather quickly, so you have to move fast, but with two people, you can knock out a gallon in half an hour. It's been two years since I initially put this on the floor, and besides maybe a small stain or two, I haven't had any issues. It hasn't cracked or chipped or peeled away (maybe because I was so anal about getting the floor clean during the prep.) Don't forget the anti-skid stuff. I put two small bags in each gallon of epoxy; I wish that I'd put 3 bags in each gallon. This is a very good product. It really transforms your garage. I wish I'd done this years ago.
