Excellent Long Range Lens

As a casual photographer on a limited budget, I am very impressed with this lens attached to my Sony A230. It appears to be a small mak-cass telescope. The build quality is excellent, very attractive, and compact with smooth focusing. It is a manual lens and camera has to be adjusted accordingly. I am getting excellent pictures hand held of flying hawks, aircraft and stationary objects. The lens is not for night use, but does well on a cloudy day with processing with a photo program like Picassa. Also, the lens should work with any dslr using the appropriate compatible T-Mount adapter. In my opinion the lens is a winner and I am very pleased.
