ROTJ Imperial Shuttle

The best thing about this shuttle is its looks. When Hasbro designed this one, they received the actual model from the movies to produce an accurate toy. And produce an accurate toy they did. It looks extremely realistic from the outside. But here's where it gets a bit disappointing. In the movie, this ship seats four on the cockpit, but the toy only seats two, so it's not perfectly in scale with the 3.75 inch figures. It also doesn't have movie accurate landing gear and the front landing gear, the one with the trigger that folds down the wings, doesn't fold up or come off. The interior looks alright but it could use some touching up. It'd be an interesting project to make it a bit better. The foot pegs on this one are designed for early 80s figures so your current figures won't fit on any of them. But the ship itself looks just so fantastic... In 2006 they came out with another Imperial Shuttle. It's the exact same mold for the ship so it's essentially the same toy but it comes with a poorly articulated Darth Vader and Imperial Guard. So I just bought this one since it didn't come with extra figures I didn't want. I've had the shuttle for a few months and I still think it's super awesome. It's gonna be even better after a few trips to the local hobby store and a few nice additions to the ship's hull and interior.PROS:-Looks GREAT! It's painted quite well on the outside.-It's begging to be modified and painted. The interior is bare, it's easy to take a part (just unscrew the screws) and there's even an empty compartment behind the thrusters so you can put a small battery pack or switches for lights or even a Fiber Optic light (the compartment opens right up) I plan on putting some fiber optic lighting on mine to create some neato formation lights and maybe some cockpit dashboard lights and I plan on painting the interior.-No extra figures to clutter up your room.-It's very big. Before I got my 2010 AT-AT toy, this was the biggest toy I owned.-It has a reasonably big interior that connects with the interior cockpit.CONS:-It doesn't have movie accurate landing gear.-The interior is bare, it can be both a pro and a con.-Footpegs are too big for recent figures
