Nice faucet, fantastic company.

I've had this faucet for 9 years and it has worked great for most of that time. I installed it myself and found it to be a bit more challenging than most kitchen faucets primarily due to the weighted retraction system. This allows the heavy spray head to easily retract into the spray arm. The problem I had was with the amount of space needed to install it. It doesn't really need a ton of space to function, it's just that you need to be inside the tight cabinet in order to install it. Once installed it worked great until last year when it began dripping from the higher pressure spray holes while the water was running from the lower pressure center hole. I took the head apart but found nothing obviously wrong so I called Kohler. I described the problem to the woman (domestic, English speaking). She said it sounded like there is something wrong with the spray assembly and they would send out a new one. I received a brand new spray unit a few days later. It works great again. I guess for $1000.00 you should get a good product but I think that the company's lifetime warranty and customer service was an unexpected pleasant surprise. This is a good lesson for other companies. I'll definitely buy another Kohler product again.

Great faucet, as long as it works

I've installed two of these in two separate houses and both have had problems where it doesn't spray straight anymore. There is apparently no filter in the head so when a chunk of garbage, usually like a small ball bearing, ends up in the faucet it gets stuck in the faucet and then it starts spraying in every direction. The first time this happened Kohler sent me a new head and I attached that and all was solved. The second time I took it apart and found the tiny rock that was the problem. I don't know if its normal to have rocks in the water system but in Miami it is. The third time I took out another rock (different house, different neighborhood, different K6330) but when it was reassembled it doesn't switch between the hard spray and the soft flow of water. Stuck between the two. I call Kohler and they don't have any parts in stock except a few parts from the handle (not at all related) and a single washer from inside the handle. No instructions on how to install them and no hope of getting this to work right. Lifetime warranty is not working for me. Less than 1 year later it doesn't work right. Finally on the phone after receiving all these random parts, 20 minutes later, they will send me a larger pile of parts with no instructions on how to install them. Wish me luck.
