Sink Your Money Into This Product

We recently remodeled our kitchen. We had decided on a stainless steel sink for a variety of reasons, but were undecided on a single or two basin model. To make the decision easier, we purchased a single basin stainless steel sink from Home Depot about a year before our kitchen remodel, when we had to change out the garbage disposal. We paid about $200 for a Sterling sink. We loved the single basin concept for being able to fit all of our larger pans, cookie sheets, cutting boards in it, but were disappointed in the way it drained and showed stains. We wanted an 8" deep sink so that you didn't have to reach down so far into the sink and for draining purposes. The Kohler model was the only one we could find that fit our cabinet dimensions and was 8" deep. The quality of this sink is so apparent, from the sound deadening material, to the way it drains and stays looking great.

I ordered this based on the pictures on Amazon and because it was a Kohler. We had Kohler products befopre and they were always very good. This did not disappoint. I was worried that it would not be deep enough but after the undermount on our new countertop (which added abuot two inches) it was not a concern. Make sure to order the KOHLER K-3133-ST Stainless Steel Bottom Basin Rack with it. It works great keeping things from sliding around in the sink. it also doubles as a drying rack for glasses since it keeps things about an inch off the sinks surface.The price was a little more than we wanted to pay but if you consider how long it will last, it's a no brainer.

Arrived in good condition, and as promised. An EXCELLENT and BEAUTIFUL sink... I couldn't be more happy. I had reservations changing to a stainless sink from a white cast iron which I liked the cheerfulness of, but this is SOOO nice. Seems to be of better quality than many brands which we looked at in kitchen displays.
