Product Description
This luxurious grade of pashmina is also called "ring pashmina" taken centuries ago from the country of Kashmir. So fine is the fabric, it can pass through a ring yet still provide wonderful warmth.
Do not allow your eyes to mistake the sheerness and lightness of this light-weight pashmina for poor quality; just the opposite. It was prized for centuries by queens and empresses of the East for it's beauty.
Only the finest of pashmina fibers are culled from the Himalayan goat and then blended with the very finest silk fiber from the East called "KTN" silk. This "best of the best" combination is loved by all pashmina connoiseurs for it's softness and the warmth it delivers!

Exquisite: Warm & Luxurious

These shawls are exquisite. The product description notes that they are supple and sheer enough to pass through a ring and this is quite true: they can pass easily through my husband's wedding ring. Despite their sheerness, however, they are stunningly warm. I wear mine year-round, as wraps in the summer and in place of scarves in the winter. One of the most appealing features about these shawls is that because they are so supple and lightweight, I can wear them with a coat as a scarf and then, after removing my coat, wrap them around my shoulders in, say, a cold restaurant or office.Also, the few photos shown here really don't do the shawls justice. Over the past few years, I've purchased nearly a dozen in a range of colors and all are strikingly beautiful. The silk lends a lovely sheen to the fabric and the colors are true and dramatic. Also, the craftsmanship is superb. Flaws would be obvious in so sheer a fabric, but I've never noticed any weaving errors or other blemishes in any of the shawls I've purchased from Rocky Mountain Emporium.Finally, Rocky Mountain Emporium's customer service is outstanding. Orders are filled promptly and shipped very quickly (sometimes even the same day). My e-mail inquiries have been addressed so helpfully and so attentively, I feel as though I'm buying from a neighborhood boutique rather than from an online vendor located halfway across the country.
