Excellent Tool Box
By Diana
I purchased this tool box to mount on my UTV Trailer Tongue. I just recieved it today and I'm very very pleased. IT is a very good looking box and appears to be all and maybe more than is described in its write-up details. It will mount very well on the tongue and I'll have much more room in it than I need... The lock and opener are great too, So If you need a box of this size, you won't find a better one, especially at this price... and the free shipping was wonderful Thank you ... Di

Great box
By fat marty
I have removed the rear seat of my jeep wrangler and installed this box behind the front seats. It fits neatly, with just an inch or so to spare between the wheel wells. I voided my warranty by drilling way more than two holes in the floor of the box, in order to insert bolts that tie down my floor jack, and five or six socket rails. I also installed various clips on the iinterior sides of the box to support ratchets and pry-bar. I also installed clips on the outside rear of the box to which I attach my jacking bar, a long breaker bar, and my e-tool (compact shovel/pick). I also installed a removable interior plywood partition (serving also as a jack bottom board) which separates tools from chain storage. I am now in the process of sewing a color-coordinated cover for the toolbox, since the glittering diamondplate finish might attract undue attention of "passerbys" lol. The dimensions given appear to be accurate dimensions of the box per se, but the lid is somewhat larger because it sits like a "hinged cap" on top of the box, and so extends slightly beyond the box. Each handle projects slightly beyond the lid profile by an additional 1/4 inch. I havent actually done the toolbox cover yet, but my notes indicate that the dimensions of my box measured by the widest points of the lid are 32 13/16 inches wide, 12 13/16 high from bottom of box to top surface of lid, and 12 13/16 deep, measured from the front of the lid to the rear of the lid. Again, these are the raw dimensions of the "lid footprint", and for the cloth cover I must still add slack room for seams and fitting, as well as the projection of my e-tool beyond the lid footprint. And if I dont drill out the rivets and remove the handles, then I will also have to add (to the long dimension) an additional 1/4 inch for each handle. Its a great box as shipped (and as subsequently modified by me lol). In spite of all the crap I have inside, the box travels in absolute silence down the trail. Not a rattle or a squeak to be heard.

UWS Toolbox
By Arjay
This is the second one of these boxes I have purchased. It's well-made and light and a reasonable price. I would like to have the same thing in black, but. . .
