5Best de-acidtizer around
By Marilisa P. Heiderscheid
This is a must have product if you save newspaper articles. Spray this on the paper, dries instantly and it won't yellow. I've tried other brands but come back to this. I have had issues with the pump but the company worked with me to replace.

4good but pricey
By GAA1
I just bought this after searching around for products to help preserve a notebook. Its pretty pricey and there are definately cheaper alternatives. I am pretty sure that they all use the same ingredient for neutralizing acidic paper. The big difference is most likely propellant. This uses a pump bottle so basically the propellant is air and pressure that you provide through the pump. Other products place a propellant inside the can ( think spray paint). Does this really make a difference? Speaking to a museum curator I know in town provided me with this answer. " Critical documents need to be preserved with the purest form of preservative without other additions as we do not know how those additions may act on the paper 20 ,50, 100 years down the line" . SInce this notebook is something I want to pass on to my son I decided to pay for this pricey aerosol, as I want it preserved in pristine condition. Frankly I think that for lower quality archival purposes like scrapbooking etc you can use a cheaper alternative and do nearly as well or you can proceed to plan B. -> Buy archival paper/notebooks and archival pens (think Sakura co. Pigma inks) to begin with and save yourself the headache of buying sprays later.

3Pricey for such a small bottle
By 2Perno
I hope this works, but it is extremely pricey for such a small bottle and there appears to be much cheaper alternatives such as Krylon's Make It Acid-Free. The Krylon came in a 6 oz spray container and was substantially cheaper. Not sure that it works as good as or better than the Ek Success Archival Mist.
