Bought to use as a CB base antenna

I mounted this antenna on a j-mount pole about 10 foot above a metal roof, but the SWRs (above 3) are too high to use it. I don't think it is an antenna problem, but a location problem. Once it gets warmer, I will relocate the antenna to see if it solves the problem. I think the antron 99 or the Imax 2000 would have been a better decision for a base station antenna, once I had done a little more research. Live and Learn. Look before you Leap.
