Readings are consistent with those from my M.D.

I have had this wrist monitor for several years now. Contrary to the other review so far, this monitor is meant to be placed so that the face (the part where you see the readings) is on the underside of your wrist just below your palm (where the nurse takes your pulse). If you put the face on the upper side of your wrist (incorrect placement), the reading would be off because it's not able to read at the pulse. I have taken it in and had its reading compared with the cuff in my doctor's office, and it's right on.

I, too, have had my cuff several years, and it has worked flawlessly, and seems to be spot on with my doctor's readings. Batteries last forever, it seems. I really like that there are two different memory banks. I would definitely buy this cuff again, should this one every fail me.
