Absolutely LOVE it!!!
By Heather
I was looking for a sub to put in my 350Z. I did not want it too overwhelming considering the Z is a pretty small car. The Sub works perfectly!!! I actually have the bass down to -2 and it still vibrates EVERYTHING!! It makes everything sound so much better!! I am very pleased in The sub especially for the price!! I recommend it to everyone!

I drive a Dodge Ram Quadcab. I bought ONE of these subwoofers and installed it into a fiberglass enclosure, which I fabricated myself, to fit under the driver's side rear seat. I also installed JL Audio speakers in the stock locations (with no modifications) and the JL Audio 600/6 amplifier. The fiberglass enclosure was built according to the volume requirements, in the subwoofer's manual and it is powered using channels 5&6 (in bridged mode) of the amplifer. I have the, low pass, crossover point at 100hz. When I first activated the system, I was actually "underwhelmed" with the subwoofer's performance. I could barely tell the difference between having it on and off. I set the level to +5, at my headunit, just to make it sound desireable. WELL! It has become obvious that these subwoofers go through a "break-in" phase because, in the four weeks following that day, I found myself constantly turning the level DOWN! Each time I got into my truck, the subwoofer seemed to be hitting harder and playing louder and louder. I now have the subwoofer level at -1 and it hits harder now, than it did the day I installed it. It shakes the whole truck. Long base notes vibrate the FRONT seat, like you're riding a Harley or somthing. Every now and then, I have to lift up the back seet, just to assure myself that it's only ONE ten inch subwoofer. I am very satisfied and "no", this is not my first semi-high-end system. By the way, before installing the subwoofer, I installed JLAudio's 6x9's in my front doors (they fit) and played them full range. They also displayed exceptional base response.
