5Not a toy and not RTF!
By rjv
First off, this plane is not a toy. It is an RC plane that requires skill and ability to fly. That being said, Multiplex, the manufacturer of this plane make some great products. This plane and the Easy Star are the best known for beginners. I would advise a plane like the Easy Star before this one however. These planes are made of a special foam which is more rubber - like than styro foam and is very forgiving when crashing. You will crash especially if you are new to the hobby. Please be aware, Amazon needs to correct this title. This plane comes as an ARF and an RTF. The RTF version comes out of the box almost Ready To Fly(RTF). You only have to do some basic assembly and do not need any real skills. Everything, except batteries AA for the radio and a little glue are included. The average price of the RTF is around $150.00. What is described here is the ARF, Almost Ready to Fly. This is much more of a kit and will require some considerable past skill to build. It also requires the purchase of a radio and other items. If you have never done this before you would be best to get an RTF package. If you buy the one listed here please know what you are getting!!! If you are not sure see the Multiplex website or do a search for RTF verse ARF.
