Finally........REVISED!!!! 1 Star

Finally.......a phone that is functional with clarity. All too many companies offer telephones with many attractive features. but unfortunately the sound quality or the reception is less than adequate. This phone offers both connection and clarity at a very affordable price. The features are easy to use and perform as promised. If you're looking for a telephone with an answering machine that provides good voice quality and reception, this is the phone for you. I couldn't be happier.Revised.........After a few months, the quality of the voice mail started to deteriorate. It's now difficult to discern half of the messages being left. I'm sorely disappointed. I would NOT buy this item again.

This machine works excellently as an answering machine. I'm sure the telephone works well also. I'm hard of hearing and have another Panasonic cordless phone that has voice enhancer that enables me to hear a caller more clearly, so I'm more likely to use that one. That would be a good additional feature to have on the KX-TG2130W.I like the answerer voice's announcenment of the number and time of each message.This machine is a great buy.
