Channel Your Sound
The K450FX gives you three channels, each with separate volume and FX SEND controls, plus Channel 1 has an additional XLR mic input for direct connection of a dynamic microphone. So, if you're the kind of keyboardist with multiple instruments at your disposal, the K450FX is ready to handle up to three independent signals. It is also ideal for use as an all-in-one solution for keys and vocal applications. The onboard 24-bit digital FX processor, with 100 amazing presets, adds a high-tech dash of reverb, chorus, flange, delay, pitch shift and other effects to your sound.
The MAIN Section gives you separate controls for FX RETURN, MASTER VOLUME, PHONES and SHAPE. A CD INPUT allows you to play recorded music through the K450FX during performance breaks, or just for playing along. A separate headphone output is perfect for quiet practicing. The K450FX also features an integrated 35-mm pole socket for stand mounting and use as a PA system.

Well Worth It

Looks great, built as solid as a German rock. Unit is surprisingly heavy for its size, but of course still portable unless you are even geekier than I am.Sound is beautiful. I've used it for a Roland keyboard, a Stratocaster, mic'd vocals and a flute. All sound great even when mixed through the three channels. A tad boomy on the bottom end to my ears but the 5 slider EQ fixes this in a heartbeat. Does not live up to its 45 watt claim. My little Cube amp blows this one out of the water. The sound degrades a bit when past half volume, but half is plenty loud enough for a practice or a living room jam or maybe even a small cafe.Love the effect setup. Controlled by only two knobs, but clever engineering gives you a huge range of very usable, good sounding and even interesting effects. The reverb and delay sound lush and wet. Effect level is controllable for each channel.Inputs and outputs are adequate, only the first channel has a balanced mic input, but thats much better than none.And the best part, the price. You are not going to find anything else this good at this price. Unless you don't care about money, buy it.

Abysmal For Low Frequencies, Baby

Admittedly I'm using this for a synthesizer and not a keyboard, but man, this thing does not handle low frequencies. It doesn't just gurgle and shake and softly fuzz, the pitches themselves are nonexistent after you get about two octaves below Middle C. Consider purchasing a bass amp if you don't intend to raise a happy and obedient family on the treble clef.Also, if you have a fetish for quiet amplifiers, this model right here could trigger a sexual awakening in you.Lovely and oftentimes adorable range of effects, though. You might like them. The delay and phaser give me some of the most happening drones in town; of course you can only use one at a time, but hey, free money.No idea how this thing handles three input sources at once. Please don't read my review if that's the kind of information you're after.

Using this for a keyboard amp and sound is crisp, clear and no buzzing. Have not done anything fancy w/ it yet but it is surprisingly great for this price!
