The prdouct is very sturdy and secure and works great on my my aluminum boat( Gregor). Because it's portable you can set it anywhere along the side of the boat.

Dimensions on the product are incorrect

This information is incorrectthe maximum clamp opening is 1 13/16" My Smokercraft Alaskan LLS has a gunnel is 2" wideSo it will not fit over it. They need some work on the design which I would gladly assist withthat as it then would help it work on a lot more boats.
